AI @ Work
I love that my day job is exploring AI for various uses in live and post production for a variety of use cases. I was just given responsibility to evaluate some cool tools that are changing the way production and editing are done and my jaw has been unhinged for 3 weeks in demos šŸ˜‚. This new era of AI is quite intense, but filled with positive possibilities! It requires lots of governance and if used correctly, it can be a powerful tool. #aicademymusings

Your First Practice with Voiceover Aicademy
When you’re stepping into voiceover, don’t overthink the setup. You don’t need the most expensive mic or a studio packed with gear. What you need is practice. And practice is free. Here’s today’s assignment. Create ChatGPT accountant (http://openai.com) and paste in this line: ā€œWrite a 30-second commercial for a luxury car that makes the driver feel unstoppable.ā€ That’s it! Let ChatGPT give you the copy, then record yourself reading it out loud on your phone, and play it back. Notice how your voice lands. Did you sound powerful, smooth, connected, or did you sound like you were reading? This is how you get better. We’ll get started this week in a Zoom (Watch the calendar) And to make this easier, I created a personal GPT inside Voiceover Aicademy that’s only for members. You can use it to pull scripts, exercises, and practice material built for voiceover. No guessing. No wasting time. https://chatgpt.com/g/g-wsb1KFWsf-voiceover Now let’s couple that commercial assignment with something visual. This is where prompting for images comes in. Prompting means giving AI a clear description of what you want to see, the same way you gave ChatGPT a clear description for the car commercial. The more detail you give, the closer the AI gets to your vision. For example, the image below was created using this exact prompt: ā€œCreate a hyper-realistic portrait of a beautiful dark-skinned Black woman speaking confidently into a Shure SM7B microphone, warm glowing studio lights, blurred background, cinematic 8K photography.ā€ That’s the power of a strong prompt. Words become visuals. So here’s your full challenge for today. Use ChatGPT to write the luxury car commercial, record it in your own voice, then use the prompt above to generate the image. Post your results in the comments, I’d love to see what you create. And before I go, have you noticed the leaderboard in the community? Some of you are creeping up on me. I won’t call names, but I see you. Every time you move up, you unlock a new title. No prize money, No gold medal, But it feels good seeing your name climb. Sometimes bragging rights are enough.

30-Second Edgy/Disruptive Mercedes-Benz Commercial (Confident, disruptive tone. Strong, deliberate pacing. About 135 words = 30s at ~4.5 wps.) 0:00–0:05 Everybody’s chasing… the next big thing. Trends. Likes. Validation. 0:05–0:10 But you don’t chase. You create the lane. And own every mile. 0:10–0:17 This isn’t just horsepower. It’s dominance in motion. It’s precision that makes hesitation… impossible. 0:17–0:23 Because when you grip the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz… You don’t ask permission. You take what’s yours. 0:23–0:30 And once you’re in… Roads bend. Limits break. And nothing—nothing—can stop you. Mercedes-Benz. The standard… is you.

Sora 2 is the new Ai tool
There’s a new AI tool taking over the charts called Sora 2, and it’s changing how we create. Sora 2 turns your words into video with real movement, emotion, and life. You just have to PROMPT it. The video of me setting up my mic, checking levels, and getting ready for a session is all Ai. With Sora 2, we can turn those real moments into visual lessons, creative content, and next-level training. Here’s how we’re leveling up. 1. Create and Learn Visually! Sora 2 helps us show the full process, from setup to performance, in motion. It’s hands-on learning you can see and hear. 2. Make Your Work Pop! Turn your session prep into a short cinematic clip. Add subtitles, music, or sign language. Make it yours. 3. Build Stronger Reels! Mix real and AI footage to create reels that look pro and feel authentic. Your story, your sound, your brand! Get ready for class this Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern. We’re bringing Sora 2 to life, and you’re part of it. Yes! This video was made with Ai.

CLASS THIS SATURDAY AT 12PM EST
Alright family, class is on this Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern. We’re going live on Zoom, and I’m sharing the link right here. Let’s have some fun, let’s connect, and let’s take it to a whole new level. Cameras on, energy up, I want to see everybody’s face. This isn’t one of those sit-back-and-watch sessions. We’re building together. We’re talking voiceover, we’re talking AI, and we’re talking about everything happening in our world right now. The tools, the trends, the shifts, all the things we need to stay ahead of. This is your space to speak, to ask, to grow, and to get inspired. So bring your voice, bring your questions, and bring that energy. I’m excited for this one, it’s going to be real, it’s going to be interactive, and it’s going to move us forward. See you Saturday, 11 a.m. Eastern. Be on time, be ready, and let’s go. https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85293985163?pwd=G9FTTaTobPL6qoLhUnrbZGS1PtGIUY.1
