Edit Pain❓
Something I’ve noticed with many writers: finishing the manuscript feels like the hardest part until the next stage begins: editing, formatting, and finding the right agent. That’s where many authors start feeling overwhelmed. A great story can lose impact if the editing isn’t strong, the formatting isn’t professional, or the right industry guidance isn’t there. Curious about other writers’ experiences here. Which part has been the most challenging for you so far? • Editing the manuscript • Formatting the book for publishing • Finding the right agent • Something else

Hi. Exactly. I learned some things and to be more organized. To do most of this myself then send over. I went the other way depending too much on their help and it cost me 3 month extra. And costs
The moment most people quit before their children’s book ever exists
Most people do not fail at writing a children’s book because of talent. They quit at the moment they realize writing the story is only about 30 percent of the journey. The real drop off happens when people hit one of these moments Not knowing if their idea is good enough Overthinking age range and word count Getting stuck on how publishing actually works Feeling silly saying out loud that they want to be an author If you have ever stalled at any of those points, comment ME below. You are not behind. You are exactly where almost every published author once stood.

Placing the time too.
And the Illustrations Begin!
I met with an illustrator yesterday! We are moving forward with the development of the main character to see if we can capture my vision and the mood of the book. It is actually happening!

The children’s book myth that keeps people stuck for years
Here’s a hard truth most people never hear: You don’t need a magical idea to write a successful children’s book. You need a structure that works again and again. I’ve published 70+ children’s books. Most of them did NOT start as “brilliant ideas.” They started as • a feeling a kid struggles with • a moment parents recognize • a simple problem with a clear emotional win Quick exercise Answer this in the comments: Which matters more for kids ages 4 to 8 A. A clever concept B. A relatable feeling C. Beautiful language D. A strong ending lesson There is a correct answer. I’ll explain why after a few replies come in.

B also seems for adults too
I just wanted to share this because I still find it incredible.
Three months ago, I published my book without high expectations; I only hoped a few people would read it. But life surprised me. Now I'm earning around $2,000 a week from it, and I'm still so thrilled because I remember how hard it was to earn even a few dollars. It's amazing how something you create can suddenly change your life. For those of you who have already launched a project... Have you ever experienced such rapid success?
