Friday Review Domino — Let's go!
UPDATE: i've updated the description, and added a visual to make it more clear. still not clear? let me know === so, you know i love a good medical series. in one of Grey's Anatomy episode, i learnt about something called "domino surgery". here's how it works: one donor gives a kidney to a recipient. that recipient's relative donates their kidney to the next person in line. and so on. a chain reaction of giving. ⚠️ but here's the thing — it only works if everyone participates. that's exactly what we're doing today. but with reviews. (i just realized this morning that it's a better name than roulette, hope i did not confuse you): THE PRINCIPLE all reviews must be honest and based on your actual experience with that community (you must be a member). no fake stuff. no "i'll say nice things, if you say nice things." one of the biggest benefits of Proveworth is that every review is verified. that's the whole point. so let's keep it real. 🚨 THE PROCESS 🚨 TO GET REVIEWS: 1️⃣ drop a comment below with your ProveWorth Profile link (if you have not set it up yet, check this post, then come back) 2️⃣ go to YOUR community → leaderboard tab or members → find 2-3 active members who are also in the Hackathon (here). if you already know those ppl, you can skip this step 3️⃣ come back here and tag those 2-3 people under your own comment asking to give you a review. if none of your members are here, just send them a DM with ProveWorth profile link and/or make a post in your community. it's a great opportunity/reminder to do this more often ✌🏻 TO GIVE REVIEWS: 1️⃣ check other comments under this post to find links to ProveWorth Profiles where you are a member. if you do not see any community where you are part of, there are 2 options: - go to ProveWorth Directory, browse communities, find ones you genuinely like (and a member of), and leave a review - you can always leave a review for Hackathon 😜 if you have something good to say and you have not done it yet

Another fun and engaging idea @Lidia Axe So here goes, @Maurice Chism , @Wendy Venema , @Ires Aponte, if you have got value or insight in the From Job to CEO: The Experiment Group, I would love if you could leave a review on my ProveWorth Profile page. 😊

I have completed 2 reviews for communities I am actively part of and have received 1 review for my community 🥳
Remember when... 🤭
in April I posted that I would get to 100 members in 30 days... well, I just got there today. Obviously I didn't make it in 30 days. 😂 Not the timeline I had aimed for but still a win I'm proud of. Thanks to this community for the accountability, the advice on churn, the crawl that gave me 11 members in one night, and @Lidia Axe for all the great advice 🤩

Churned members
I'm at 96 members after 50 days (yeah I didn't make it to 100 in 30) would be at 103 but 6 have churned (and I removed 1). I've been sending a personal DM to everyone who leaves, just a check-in and an open invitation back. 3 have replied with their reasons, mostly life and timing, but I'm still wondering if better onboarding would have kept them longer. I send each new member a welcome DM and invite to engage with an introduction post and ask them a specific question about their business but when someone joins but doesn't engage at all in the first week do you DM them again after the welcome message? Or does that feel too pushy? A lot of people don't reply to the first DM... I don't want to be annoying but I also don't want to just watch people quietly disappear.

@Roberto Srpak thank you for the advice, you do have a good onboarding process and I am going to think about how I can do this in a structured (and human!) way for my group. Thanks very much 😊
I must go back to my podcast. What's your secret?
This is gonna sound weird. But it's real. I have a podcast... Coach-to-Coach Central - raw and honest conversations about starting a business. How cool is that?! It is cool. I know. Here is what I am good at: - finding cool guests - contacting cool guests (and making them say YES) - recording cool interviews Here is what I am crap at: - editing those episodes fast - publishing them fast - promoting these episodes So I feel like shit. No, I feel like double shit. Cause i have dozen + episodes with some really, really cool ppl ReCOrded. Sitting on my drive. I am awful. Terrible person. And I do not have a solution. PS Why am I telling you that? Cause I know, I will find the answer. And I also know you have same dirty secret, you don't want to tell. Here I am , telling you mine. So, tell me yours and let's find a solution ⬇️

Hi @Lidia Axe, I am about to go back to my youtube channel after a long hiatus with a refresh and something that really helped me get a lot faster at the editing when I was doing a lot of videos (at one point i was doing 2 long form videos a week) was starting by editing the transcript first and foremost. I would read through and get rid of the bits that I already knew I wanted to edit out. It made the process so much faster than having to listen and edit first. I would sometimes go from a 20 minute video to edit to a 8 minute video as would get rid of pauses at the same time too which was a quick click.
