Heavy Bag
I’m just curious, how many of you have access to a heavy bag, banana bag, some type of punching bag? As we are filming more and more of our course, and deeper into the levels eventually you will want one. So I’m trying to see if we need to do a video about the different types of bags and where to get them so you don’t end up getting some over priced 💩

I do have a question about bags though. A straight up and down standing bag isn't conducive to a good upper directional uppercut or knee, or downward elbow. Do you recommend any standing bags that have some sort of shelf angle for downward or upward directional shots? Or are those entirely wall mounted or trained with pads for you?

Just to start the conversation, I'm looking at a halo for my standing bag. It looks like they have a hard time staying in place but with a ratchet strap you can stabilize it. Any other ideas?
What’s your biggest obstacle?
Obviously everyone is here to learn the Art of Muay Thai. But I’m curious what specific obstacles you all are running into? Maybe we can help each other, or if it’s a technique thing then I’ll put it on Kru Johns list for upcoming posts, or….. 🤷‍♂️

MOBILITY. I feel like I generate good kicking power through a myriad number of form nuances and practice. And yet regularly or easily placed head level kicks at my age elude me. I started with online reel tips from you guys and others but I'm super excited to delve into the more detailed hip mobility work!
