When and why to hire
When and why to hire. Just about halfway through this episode. And the why question has been proposed. Giving me some pretty serious thought as to how I run my business even today, before I hire employees. The systems that I'm building as to why I’mbuilding them and how they will play into my business five years down the road. Specifically, the difference between working for myself and owning a business and to what my end goal is. My question for you all is: when you started your business did you want to work for yourself or did you want to run a business? Did that why follow you, or change and adapt as the rubber hit the road?

Great question!! I wish when I first started, I was exposed to the CSP information. You are going into business way ahead of most people. Before I knew all this information, I just wanted to work for myself. I had no idea how to run a business. Now, I much prefer running the business--and yes, for me as I made that transition it seemed like my why was more apparent. (Getting the focus off of me, and on to something else was especially important in my success, which holds true in many facets of my life.) You will find that as you progress in life and business there are different seasons. The essence of my "why" has followed me, but there has been some change and adapting along the way, in terms of refinement of my "why" and relative to where I am in life.
CSP Family - I've got one question for you
It's a new week --- What is One factor that you need to focus on either improving or implementing this week in your business or personal life that will help propel you to the next level? -- The key is to always be pressing forward! ----- I will look forward to hearing your feedback but most importantly your CSP members need to hear from you to help support one another on each one's journey of success --- Speak Up So The ACCOUNTABILITY Can Begin!

Seeing things through. I’ve got some projects I’ve been working on that keep getting downgraded due to other projects becoming “priorities.”
Success in your Daily Routine
One little detail I seem to have missed in the past that helped me tremendously in my quiet time this morning, that I picked up on by listening to this yesterday. What I will call a brain dump - get all the tasks of the day written down at the beginning of quiet time to free up that mental space. It simply makes sense.

Paper is cheaper than brains. :)
Gratitude
Just finished, in it's entirety, the mindset success courses. The biggest takeaway, for me, is the mindset of gratitude. I've been implementing goals, quiet time, filling my Coke can, thinking big, and integrity to myself. But the part, that has been at the top of my mind, and acting upon, is the attitude of gratitude. Every time I'm feeling like crap, whenever I walk in to do a sale, when I need to boost my mood before seeing people, I take 30-60 seconds and just list things I'm greatful for. Like Tom said, can't be angry if you're greatful(paraphrasing). How often do you find yourself in a bad mood? How do you turn that frown upside down? I challenge you, next time you're not mentally in it, to take that 60 seconds and just SHOUT(if you're alone) out what you are greatful for.

Understanding the concept of the coke can was life changing for me. A powerful lesson I have taught my children and continue to reinforce to this day-- for them and for me.
