We live in my hometown of Wilcannia, and during covid we were locked down for a few months in our caravan. During this time we didn't have access to basics such as clean water or food, medications, health services and the local shop was often closed. The nearest alternative is two hours away and the conveniences everyone takes for granted were inaccessible to us. Since then we've experienced power insecurity, with several outages across the Far West, and decided we needed to take charge of our lives and our access to power was the starting point. Simon installed SIAB for us and it's been a game changer. We still have issues with food and water security which are next on the list for us to tackle.
