First time eating out
Morning ladies, on Sunday I’m going for my first meal out and I’m a bit scared 🤣 I’ve chosen Wildwood as it’s the only place local to us that feels safe ish. They have great GF options as all their pizza & pasta can be made GF and they have naturally GF risotto etc. I called and asked how things are prepared, although they don’t have a separate area she said they use different chopping boards, baking trays, utensils etc and the chefs change gloves. I’m having the pasta so I asked about the cooking water and she said it’s new clean water but I’m going to confirm this again on the night. We will have the GF stone baked garlic bread to start and I forgot to ask how that’s cooked as it can’t go straight on the oven surface? Am I missing anything obvious?! Thanks ☺️
My first GF pancakes ☺️
I’m 3 weeks into fully GF coeliac mode and still finding my feet, but I’m proud I adapted my first “occassion” food 🤣 A silly little tweak but a step in the right GF direction 🤣 x

No stomach issues?!
Hiya, this might be a stupid question and super obvious but it’s on my mind 🤣 I’m very early into my GF journey, only a few weeks of strict coeliac for various reasons😬 I was preparing myself for lots of after issues as my gut heals as I’d read people get like a gluten withdrawal and stomach issues as they adjust. My stomach pains & toilet got so bad before I went GF is was really effecting my daily life and making me feel crap. But since I’ve not had one stomach issue. Is that a good sign or is it still to come? 😅 I’m wondering if my stomach is just so happy I’m finally GF that it’s not going to play me up 🤣 x

Living with with family who aren’t GF
Hey, me again😅 Anyone who lives with family who aren’t Coeliac/GF? How do you operate? What is separate? Do you share cutlery? Air fryer if using inserts? How do you go to other families houses/ visit friends and eat where you don’t have your GF sanctuary… pans, utensils, plates, trays etc? Last thing… Anyone with Dermatitis Herpetiformis (DH)?😩

@Emma Gifford thank you! Did you clean the inside of the air fryer and the top element? I felt inside and it was all crummy 😅 x

@Jess Cripps awe no I haven’t ventured out into eating gluten free yet 😅 I’ve heard mixed things about subway, maybe it depends on the branch and the staff depending how seriously they take it with changing gloves and being careful from the salad pots. They always look a mess 😬 x
GF in Paris!
hey! I am going to Paris for my 24th Birthday in April. I have seen a gluten free bakery called Copains which I am DYING to try. I am there for 4days and kind of dreading finding safe places to eat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated or tips on how to find places!🧡

@Jess Cripps awe that’s a long time! Oh no that’s a shame! My diagnoses has been quick as it was a private hospital but on the NHS but I’ve had no after care/follow up and just left to it 😬 x
