Less exercise + More Food = MORE WEIGHT LOSS … GO figure!
I just love how I am learning, the more food I eat and the less exercise I do, the more weight I loose! It is literally what @Cody Golman has been saying all along. It took me a while to trust this process but it’s clearly proven and clearly works!
Day 6 - down 6.2 lbs.
It's so exciting. The diet coke and chewing gum with artificial sweeteners withdrawals are calming down a bit and it is VERY motivating to see those numbers. I am weighing everything and it's amazing either how much or how little everything is lol! But honestly - hunger has not been an issue. The intrusive thoughts were coming in yesterday - "you're not going to make it" or "you'll slip one day and lose the progress" but I acknowledged them and moved on. Hope you're all doing great!

Hi Gloria, my journey has been rewarding and then there are moments of pause which can also be grounding and stabilizing. I suppose this journey is a solid reflection of our lives’ journeys filled with ups and downs, highs and lows and I’m learning through @Cody Golman how to stay balanced in a state of equilibrium with it all. Loving what is. Feel free to share your journey so far. I’m interested to hear more.

Days 18-20
Reporting that I am minus 17 pounds in 18 days and then it happened the dreaded increase although insignificant really (less than 1/2 pound), it was a data point to compare to all the days when the scale was heading south or stayed unchanged. I knew this day would eventually happen and when it did I was almost relieved as psychological breakthrough was made. Now that it happened, I could face it head on and make the necessary changes which if my premises are accurate the changes should be simple. There are two things decidedly that could have contributed to the slight increase in ounces. They are the way I took my drops the night before and the fact that I indulged for the first time since starting the program. I am extremely specific and intentional in the way I take those magic drops. I have a ritual that I follow and it starts with making sure my mouth is super clean and then keep I the drops them in there for more than a minute. I pray they do what they are supposed to do and that my body responds accordingly. The night before I gained for the first time in 18 days was the one night I completely forgot to retain the drops in my mouth for at least a full minute. It was a mindless swallow without waiting (and staring at the stopwatch on my phone) this was followed by regret. Perhaps this contributed to the slight increase this morning? The other thing was I did not weigh my protein the day before at lunch and then at dinner, I definitely ate more than 4oz. And rationalized it was because I cleared some major charges with the good Dr. Cody and needed the extra fuel. It is all speculation at this point so I am releasing it as Dr. Cody said, we learn the most on the days we increase. Tomorrow marks day 20 - the mid way point on this journey.

🔴 LIVE TODAY — 11:00a mst/ 1:00p est — "Understanding Dopamine: Why You Have To Go For The Pain First"
Here's something almost nobody told you when you got off sugar. The first ten days felt like withdrawal because it was withdrawal. The headache. The fog. The 3pm rage. That voice saying you were failing. That wasn't a character flaw. That was neurochemistry, and there's 50 years of research explaining exactly what was happening to you. Today I want to show you the mechanism, because once you see it you can't unsee it, and it explains a lot more than sugar. Pleasure and pain are processed in overlapping parts of your brain, and they work like two ends of one balance. That balance has one job, get level. And it levels itself by tipping just as hard the other way. So when you push the pleasure side down, your brain doesn't gently let go. It slams the pain side down by an equal and opposite amount. Psychologists have a name for this: opponent-process theory (Solomon & Corbit, 1974). The high never gets stronger. The comedown does — every single time. Which means the order matters more than almost anything else you do: 🔻 Pleasure first → spike → crash below baseline → chase it again → your floor drops → now you need the thing just to feel normal. 🔺 Pain first → dip on purpose → rebound above baseline → the lift is slow and it holds → your floor rises → ordinary life starts feeling good again. Same two ingredients. Completely different life. 👉 What's the painful thing you've been pushing to tomorrow the longest? That's the one we're going after. See you at 11 MST. 🔥. here is the link; https://www.skool.com/live/FVCVx2FvlV8 — Dr. Cody
