There's a Taoist principle called wu wei. It translates to effortless action — or non-forcing. The idea: the most powerful action doesn't push. It flows. Water is soft, but it carves mountains. Softness overcomes hardness. I closed $7M in coaching services before I ever heard of wu wei. But when I discovered it, everything clicked. Turns out what I was doing on calls mapped to ancient principles: 🟢 Effortless action → stop pushing, start flowing 🟢 Non-resistance → work with the prospect, not against them 🟢 Patience / timing → let the deal ripen, don't force the close 🟢 Emptiness / openness → show up without agenda, ask questions instead of pitch 🟢 Softness overcomes hardness → curiosity and empathy close more than pressure 🟢 Less is more → talk less, listen more 🟢 Trust the process → detach from outcome, attach to process The best closers don't force. They flow. That's wu wei. Flow over Force is the 🔑 Linked a video on wu wei in the comments if you want to go deeper 👇
