@Katherine Chanelle JAWESOME!
The rules don't apply to me...
...because I'm a special snowflake... ❄️ But for real, I'm building my new community a little differently, and am genuinely wondering which advice does and does not apply in my case. My new offer is helping mid-tier touring comics sell more tickets to their shows with Meta ads. It's mainly a done-for-you offer, but I've realised that pricing can be an issue, so I've decided that a done-with-you option in a Skool community would be a solid downsell, and maybe an entry point as well. Because it is so niche (maybe 10k people in the English speaking world), I tend to think that things like ranking on Discovery maybe aren't as important. That being said, don't want to throw the baby out with the bath-water, so I'd love to get any thoughts from y'all as to what I should be doing differently, and what remains true regardless of market size/specificity. If you had a small market, and a specific problem to solve for them, how would you go about building a community?

@Goose Dunlavey, this is the gist of what I was going to ask on the Entrepreneurs Anonymous call but we ran out of time and you flew away... 🛫
🪿 Bonus points first? Sure why the hell not 😝
Let’s get the bonus points done first, shall we?? 🌈 Drop the craziest, funniest thing that’s happened in the last week… or if you don’t do crazy, what the thing you chose into that was the most fun?? Ok, now…? 👇🏻 Drop one win (from last week, personal or biz) AND One thing you want to take action on this coming week and when you are going to do it! 🚀 I always look back on the past week to find those wins, no matter how big or small, as I find it fuels the coming week even more! This is a goosified version of something I do in my space that helps build connection between members, plus it’s always amazing to celebrate with everyone and see what is on the agenda for the coming week 🪿

Crazy fun thing - Made a big brain play at baseball that most would have missed (at least at the level I play at...) Win from last week - landed a deal with a comedy club to run ads for their next 6 headliners over the next 6 weeks Action for this week - Build those 6 ad campaigns. Working on 2 of 6 right now. Once they're done, back to outreach and asset building
