You upgraded the frame of reference... “Us” and “they” are not stable, objective categories—they’re context-dependent groupings that shift depending on situation, perspective, and power structure. I would be interested if you could write down the progression. What was the frame of reference or who "were"... “us” and “them”? My list is so long I could turn it into articles.
