A current compromise could be to create understandable subtitles instead of relying on YouTube's poor automatic translation. Today it is much easier to create fast translation with AI in a more natural wording to the language. You can quickly create translated subtitles SRT files with AI based on the existing transcriptions and timestamps, and simply insert them into the video instead of manually preparing them. you can also edit the title and bio of a video in adjust to the languege of the user. (ironically I wrote this with Google Translate, so sorry if there are any mistakes in the wording).
