Cove Application and Repair
I’ve never done coves and this customer really wants them done. What products do y’all recommend and if you have a nice tutorial link I would appreciate it! Or any tips and tricks too! They also have these nasty cracks/holes. What would be the best way to fix those?

@Junaid Malik I tend to use SikaTop 123, comes in 2 parts. It’s pricey but it’ll stick to anything and I’ve never had a problem with it. I’m curious if you have a preference for a particular product to use for your patches? Thanks
Reflecting on my largest year so far floor coating
in this video I go over what I'll be doing this year to go from 854k to 3mil this year How I see it, this year is going to be the culmination of 5+ years of business all coming together for me I've got an amazing team, great SOPs and the sales system down It's just consistent inputs while measuring the outputs to find what is helping the most Let me know what yall think!

Congrats for all the hard work. I'm excited about growing my concrete repair and resurfacing business this year too, looking forward to 2025.
Installing glass floors is the bare-minimum in 2025
This is my prediction for 2025, Everyone wants to focus on the installing side of business, which definitely matters. But buying the newest Milwaukee tool is not going to impress your customers or get more eyeballs onto your business I'm not saying that they don't matter. They absolutely do, but in 2025, installing glass floors is the bare minimum and is almost a commodity What matters is getting as many leads as possible. Use a more automated system that can guide them through the buying process with resources such as a portfolio, reviews, brand showcase videos, why you are different from the others. It should convince them that you are the answer to their problems. You're seeing more companies with idiots running prices into the floor. You wonder why they're getting jobs at $4 per square foot We must generate MORE qualified leads. We need a strong sales process that shows your brand. It must educate them on why you are the best choice. We want to avoid using sales reps and unnecessary customer service. With the rise of Automations and AI, those that adapt will be more profitable. Allowing them to even compete with the $4/sqft guys while still being profitable

Anyone from Canada?
Just curious if there's people from up North, to see where you guys order products from

@Alvis Ciritis good question, I know there are a few concrete products still made in North America but not sure if they are part of that.

@Alvis Ciritis I hear ya, I think finding a bulk supplier is a great idea, but I don’t wanna take the combination of time and risk to find a supplier who’s actually gonna treat me fairly. Unless I’m doing huge numbers I’d rather spend a little bit more to go with a reputable supplier who’s gonna shoulder the quality risks while I focus on the work. But I’m really in the hands-on stage and not even thinking about growth beyond what I can do so it really comes down to where you wanna go with a business.
Job Site Generator
Up till now I've run on the homeowners power, usually direct from the box with a 10 gauge extension wire but I'm interested in having a generator option. My emergency generator is a Champion gas powered unit, specs are 6500 running watts, 7800 peak watts. Not sure if this is good enough to run a 120V vac /3 motors + pre separator and a 240V 13.2Amp ASL T2 grinder but since I'll probably add a slightly bigger grinder down the road I wonder if extra watts will be needed. Not looking at any commercial work right now, strickly residential. Would love to know what you all are using or see as a good value option?

@Junaid Malik thank you for the good tips. I got my Champion at Costco and it has done good for me so far, 12000 running watts is a beast, gonna look out for it. Thanks
