Training saves
Hi all, sorry not posted for a while, life has been happening and getting in the way of posting videos etc. Here are some of Dylans saves from training this morning, his whole game is developing well thanks to the extra training. I will do another post shortly updating what we have been up to over the last month or so https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZBEm_DsVuT/?igsh=MTl1bW9sOWQ2anZ5bA==
Training saves
League champions confirmed
Saturday we got the 3 points that we required to finish top of our league with 3 games to spare. We are a small village club outside Exeter that was only formed in Nov 2023 and our first season as a team was last season (only 1 player from our team had ever played football in a team before) we finished 8th out of 11 which was respectable. But this season we have won the league in only our second season with 3 games remaining and are still unbeaten in 13 games (12W 1D) GS 91, GA 24, GD 67. The team that we beat on Saturday were fantastic and they gave us a guard of honour at the end of the game and every single one of them wished us luck for Div 3 next season, a great feeling to have as a coach and with Dylan as our GK makes it all the more special to be able to share this moment with him and i must admit i did have a lump in my throat when i saw the guard of honour.

Thanks Roxy, I think team is a great word for them. Yes we have 3 or 4 good level players but the rest of them were rejected by other clubs because they weren't deemed good enough for the other teams. There are no prima donnas in there, they all work well together and are happy doing the mundane 'dirty' work and get as much of a kick out of a great challenge, Dylan making a great save as scoring a goal. Normally a team has 1 or 2 players that if you stop them playing the teams heads drop.

We only went and won it. So we won the Butlins tournament. Day 2 started with a tough game which we managed to win 2-1 Our next game we won 4-1 and then we were beaten 4-0 in a game where I picked up a small injury to my shin when a striker ran through me after I collected the ball. We had already qualified and I think maybe we switched off We went in to the semis and won on penalties. The final was a tense game we played a team we had drew 0-0 with the day before. We won 1-0 are are champions. A great experience and honestly can say that every player had a moment on the two day tournament. A great experience and awesome presentation

4 games left, 3 more points to be league winners. Not bad seeing as this is only our 2nd season ever
Biggest win ever
Just wanted to share what is the biggest win ever. Mum is home. She is resting and obviously it's going to take time to get back to normal. But just so pleased to have her home. Thank you to the community and @Ray Newland for all the support and well wishes. You have all helped us through it
