Dylan won GK of the month with GKDC and Jack's critique of Dylans performances. Training is really paying off, Dylan was a reasonably 'naturally gifted' keeper (playing in the garden and messing around with his mates) he already had quick reactions, quite fearless and not worried about making mistakes. This was before any extra dedicated training and now he is having his rough edges knocked off and his all round game has improved massively. He plays with his mates in a lower division team than what he should be playing in so he can actually learn his game and enjoy the game for what it is, although we are currently top of the league and unbeaten after 12 games, it wasnt like that last season. He plays in goal for his school team who are at a good level so he is getting the more competitive games with them and with the weekly GK training I feel we have hit a good balance which allows him to learn the game, enjoy the game and not have too much effect on him enjoying being a teenager.
