Today's session - novelty & originality [link inside]
I'm looking forward to meeting you all today at 10:30 am. I'll be going through the difference between originality & novelty, and will share how to ensure it is clearly stated in your manuscripts. Here is the link: https://meet.google.com/wmj-hges-zce

Hi @Dawid Hanak, thanks for another wonderful and insightful session. Could you please cover how to write the knowledge gap section and how to ensure it is clearly stated in manuscripts, just like today’s session, in a future session. I tend to get confused about how to state the knowledge gap part and I think it also is related to the novelty and originality of the research work. 👏🏻

@Dawid Hanak wow, that's great!!!
What’s your favourite tool to support your research?
We all have our favourite tools that we use in our research. Whether that’s data analytics, referencing, or AI tools. Share which tool you think is absolutely must have for your research and tell us how you use it.

For me it’s Google AI overview to gather information for my research and ChatGPT for analysing the knowledge and information gathered and afterwards, helping me write sections of my research. I usually use ChatGPT to make an outline of my research and then write the different sections myself. Insightful session, thanks @Dawid Hanak! 👏🏻

Very insightful session, just watched the recording! I have one question for @Dawid Hanak. Could you please discuss how to properly cite and acknowledge the use of AI in research papers and PhD thesis. I think a lot of gray areas remain in the ethical and proper use of AI in PhD research and a discussion on that would be very useful. Thanks again! 👏🏻
My 30-second story
Hi, my name is Neaz Mujeri and I am an AI and Sustainability researcher. I help leaders, educators, and organisations navigating AI transformation (Audience) develop AI literacy through an attitude-first, systems leadership approach (Theme). My work was sparked by observing that many well-designed digital initiatives fail not because of weak technology, but because mindset and culture are misaligned (Spark). Through the Attitude-First Learning (AFL) and Attitude-Driven AI Literacy (ADAIL) models, supported by my research, CRI publications, and applied leadership frameworks, I demonstrate how cultivating growth mindset and systems thinking enables responsible and sustainable AI integration (Proof Point).

@Dawid Hanak, I have re-written it, hope this sounds better: My 30-second story Hi, my name is Neaz Mujeri, and I am an AI and Sustainability researcher. I help leaders, educators, and organisations navigating AI transformation (Audience) develop AI literacy through cultivating a positive attitude and mindset through curiosity, openness, and learning by doing (Theme). My work was sparked by observing that many well-designed digital initiatives fail not because of weak technology, but because mindset and culture are misaligned (Spark). To address this challenge, I developed two models focused on fostering a positive attitude and mindset. Supported by my research, publications, and applied leadership frameworks, I demonstrate how cultivating a growth mindset and systems thinking enables responsible and sustainable AI integration (Proof Point).
