@Jeff Y When I started it was around 500. Initially I tried to study a lot and try too many things at once but it was a disaster. I used chess.com engine for analysis but I was not satisfied with the possibilities provided by it. After that started analysing games by myself which prepared me more mentally, I will say. If I lose to somebody, I will go and watch their previous few games also to see if they are always strong or only strong against me. Last but not the least, I sticked to one opening each for black and white and play maximum games with each rather than trying many openings and many strategies. This helped simplify the games for me. In between, I entered a losing streak in which I lost almost 15-20 games consecutively. I then followed Coach Kevin's strategy of warming up before games and playing games when I am mentally relaxed and the anti blunder blueprint. That really helped reducing my losses I would say. I have played 1642 rapid games in the last one year.
