Today we jammed on ideas for the upcoming Zodiac challenge 🪐 Main points discussed: - Astrology gets more interesting when you stop treating it like a fixed label and start treating it like raw symbolic material for creativity. - The challenge can include more than just Western and Chinese zodiac systems. Other world zodiacs, like Celtic, Native American, Egyptian, tree astrology, and others, open up way more visual and symbolic possibilities. - The real creative opportunity is fusion. Combining multiple zodiac systems into one original symbol, creature, or character makes the work more personal and less generic. - Zodiac art can be approached as both personal exploration and marketable art. People love animals, symbolism, and astrology, so this material has strong emotional and commercial appeal. - Research is part of the art. The deeper you look into signs, hidden zodiac traditions, omitted constellations like Ophiuchus, gemstones, music, trees, and mythology, the richer your final image becomes. - Don't just repeat what has already been done for thousands of years. The invitation is to respect the lineage, then remix it, stretch it, and invent something new from it. - AI can help organize ideas, but the real value comes from human alchemy, your research, your taste, your hand, your choices, and your final creative expression. The point is not the prompt. The point is the art!
