Training vs Working Out
Most people don’t train. They just “work out.” What’s the difference? Training has a goal. - You’re there to get stronger, faster, leaner, more athletic. - You track numbers. You build. You progress. - Every session has a purpose, even your rest days. Exercises are chosen for specific reasons. Loading is done with intent, not just what “feels heavy”. Working out? - Working out is sweat for sweat’s sake. - Random movements, random weights, random results. - It feels productive, but after your initial “newbie gains”, it’s just spinning your wheels. If you’re not showing up with a specific target (like 5 more pounds on the bar, 2 more reps, better form, faster sprint), you’re not training, you’re just exercising. One builds your body. The other just burns time. What’s your current goal in the gym—and how are you tracking progress toward it? Drop it below and let’s talk.

Day 21
Apologies for my lack of posting. Busiest time of the year for me, worked two 12s this weekend at my second job for a big event at the lake I work at. Been hitting all the bullets, not skipping workouts, planning ahead my food, and talking to new strangers every day. Steered clear of vices as well. Cold showers have felt better than ever because ive been in the sun driving boats and getting burnt haha. I did run out of food today and had to eat a panda express teriyaki bowl so thats a fail but im back to my regular hours and normal meal preps. Hope yall have been doing well and are finishing stong
