This is really beautiful, Sue 😊 I like how simply you’ve expressed it - it brings things back to that deeper perspective of who we are beyond everything we experience in this life. It’s something that’s easy to forget in the middle of everyday life, but also really grounding when we pause and reflect on it 🙏

@Sue Thomson That’s really lovely, Sue 😊 I think they definitely do that - they really give people something to pause and reflect on, even if they don’t always say it out loud. It’s a nice way of guiding people to think more deeply in their own time and in their own way 🙏
Overcoming Negativity
"What if the battle you are facing isn't around you, but inside you?" The real war happens in our minds. We can train our minds to defeat our negativety by making a conscious choice each morning to be positive and happy. If we maintain this mindset throughout the day, when negative thoughts arise you can easily reject them and replace them with positive and happy thoughts. Romans 12:2 kjv "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind" By chosing a positive mind set overcomes negativity.

@Sue Thomson That’s deeply moving, Sue ❤️ It sounds like what you shared with your husband was far more than companionship - almost like a sacred partnership and a journey of learning together. I can understand why carrying that knowledge forward feels so important to you. And I think the fact that you’re still committed to sharing it says a lot about the love, trust, and purpose that was placed in your hands 🙏 By the way, I was wondering - have you had any more conversations with Ayinde since the feedback he gave you? Has anything started taking shape from that yet? 😊

@Sue Thomson I understand, Sue 😊 It really sounds like you’ve had quite a lot on your plate lately, both emotionally and in terms of the work you’re doing for others. I can imagine it’s not always easy to find the headspace to focus on everything at once. And thank you for sharing that about your husband - I can see how meaningful that connection was for you and why you hold it in such a special way 🙏 No worries at all about the freelancer, just take your time with it when things settle a bit more.
Truth Does Not Change
Human opinions and cultures change with time, but God's truth remains constant. Matthew 24:35 - Jesus said: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away." Because God is unchanging, His principles remain trustworthy. We can build our lives upon them with confidence. Have you ever experienced a time when changing opinions around you made you appreciate the unchanging truth of God's Word even more? In a world where so much is uncertain, what does it mean for you personally to build your life on principles that remain constant and trustworthy?

God's Order Brings Peace
Confusion, chaos, and instability are signs that we have moved away from God's principles. God's ways produce peace because they are founded on truth. Throughout Scripture, we see that God brings order out of disorder: He brought light out of darkness. He established times and seasons. He gave moral laws to guide His people. He sent Jesus Christ to reconcile humanity back to Himself. God's desire has always been restoration, harmony, and peace. Where do you see God's ability to bring order out of disorder reflected in your own life or in the world around you? We live in a world today where there is so much confusion and instability, how can we align ourselves more closely with God's principles and experience the peace He desires for us?

This really made me stop and reflect, Sue 😊 One thing I've noticed is that when life feels most confusing or uncertain, it's often the simple things-taking time to reflect, being patient, and staying grounded in what we know to be true-that help bring a sense of clarity and peace again. I think that's one reason so many people are searching for stability today. In a world that can feel very noisy, there seems to be a real longing for peace, purpose, and direction. 🙏
Sowing & Reaping
Galatians 6:7 reveals one of God's unchanging laws, yet it is often misunderstood and misused. Human laws may change, but God's laws, whether seen in nature or in the spiritual realm, remain constant. When a farmer plants wheat seeds, provides water and sunshine, and carefully cultivates the crop, the harvest will always be wheat, not corn. This is a natural law established by God. It cannot be altered. It has always worked, and it always will. The same principle applies to our lives. Our thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions are seeds that we continually sow. In time, we reap according to what we have planted. Whatever we consistently focus our minds upon and send out through our thoughts and deeds will eventually produce a harvest of its own. God's law of sowing and reaping operates not only in the physical world but also in the mental and spiritual realms. Therefore, we should be careful about the seeds we sow, because in due season we will reap the results of what we have planted.

I really like the way you explained this, Sue 😊 The comparison with the farmer and the harvest makes the principle feel very grounded and easy to reflect on. It’s a powerful reminder that even the small thoughts, attitudes, and actions we repeat over time are shaping something within us and around us. Definitely gives a lot to think about 🙏
