Hey ladies😊
I'm Tatenda Alicia Murwira from Zimbabwe I'll be serving as an ambassador for Harare.I'm a software developer and tech founder ,looking forward to getting to know you all!!
hellooo @Tatenda Murwira !! I recently read about Harare in the story “I will always write back”. Welcome, so glad to be in this together! 💜✨
A warm hello to all you amazing ladies
Hi everyone! I'm Zheng Keer Ami, a linguistics student from Hong Kong, and I'm thrilled to be joining the Female Founders Breakfast team as an intern here in Lisbon! I'm currently studying linguistics at City University of Hong Kong, and my career aspiration is to become a speech therapist, especially supporting children with special educational needs. I'll need to build something of my own one day. That's where FFB comes in! As an intern, I'm nervous yet excited to learn, contribute, and soak up as much as I can from all of you. I'm particularly enthusiastic to support the community, whether that's through events, content, or just helping behind the scenes. I'm really looking forward to connecting with you all, learning from your stories, sharing mine, and growing together in this supportive and inspiring space.

Welcome @Keer Zheng !!! 🥳🥳 What a wonderful intro and insight into what lights you up! It’s also amazing that you are traveling abroad to have new experiences, that’s super powerful and mega brave! And we are so very grateful to have your help this summer 🥰❤️ -Naomi, Cascais Ambassador
Generosity > Competition
“What carried those women to the top was other women. The very thing we were trained to treat as a threat is the thing that lifted them.” - Susan Hyatt This coach I follow (and was trained by) shared a really important story and sentiment in an email this week and I wanted to share screenshots because it is such a great reminder of what we are building here. Not only are we here to see more women+ rise, but we are here to see us all do it together. Let’s be generous with each other. The patriarchy made it up, this notion that women are competitive. It was only ever a survival mechanism, it’s not real. We are collaborators. So I want to ask you, can you shout out someone in the community you can recommend or speak kindly about ? Or is there someone you are excited to get to know better and potentially collaborate with or support? All and any kind words count. ❤️💜

Shouting out Thalita, @Ana Amaral , @Tania Timkova , @Patricia Santos, Sulakshana, (and so many others) who have been consistently showing up to our Cascais breakfasts with open hearts, kindness, love, care, authenticity, and community spirit. ❤️❤️❤️ for a quick example, @Patricia Santos always takes notes of other community members during intro rounds and always offers to help clean up. Truly grateful for this commitment and generosity. ❤️💜
Special Guest announced for Cascais!
COMMUNITYYYYY we have a really exciting announcement! For our Breakfast next week on Thursday, June 18, we have an absolute POWERHOUSE of a guest coming to share her story with us!! We cannot wait to welcome Chitra Stern, founder of Martinhal and United Lisbon International School !!! Please grab your ticket now if you haven’t already! It’s happening at Luna House Cascais at 9am ❤️ She built a brand that marries family vacation with luxury where it didnt exist. She opened an international school because she identified the country needed one for more foreign investment. She stood on the TedX stage TWICE and spoke her truth. All because she dared to audaciously dream. Let’s give her a warm Female Founders Breakfast Cascais welcome !!! ❤️❤️❤️ and as always, I cant wait to connect with you all and hear what’s current for you in life and business! 😍❤️🫂 grab your ticket ! https://luma.com/s1skqepm
Hello beautiful women! ✨
I'm Jelena - Serbian, freshly settled in Cascais, and very happy to be here. My path has been a bit zigzag: ~7 years as a frontend developer, then a leap into yoga teacher training in India, contact improvisation, and somatic movement work. All of it pointed me toward what I'm building now. What I'm building: Syncira, a cycle-aware daily guidance app for women. It blends my tech skills with my love for cycle awareness, somatics, and treating the female body as wisdom rather than a problem. Web MVP is live; mobile app is in progress. What I'm exploring/struggling with: how to build and fundraise as a solo founder without losing the embodied, slow, intuitive way of working that actually makes me good at this. Also - the very real logistics of being a new resident in Portugal while doing all of the above. Really looking forward to meeting all the wonderful women in this community. Hugs to all 🌿

@Jelena Korac welcome and I cant wait to meet you! I’m Naomi, one of 2 Cascais Ambassadors ! My other half is @Tania Timkova !❤️ I’m so excited to hear more about your startup and support you in this process, and connect you to others in the ecosystem! Welcome again ❤️❤️❤️🇵🇹 also, I moved to Portugal from Canada 3 years ago, and to Cascais this past fall, so I can relate to being new here and all the challenges (and beautiful things too) that brings!
