You need to understand concepts, memorize models, i.e. Bell Lapadula. You need to understand business continuity, plans, recovery plans you need to know and understand cryptology; there is a lot of common sense with the exam hence why they say think like a manager. It’s important to know your Domains - Great resource- Destination CISSP, Think like a manager, The 11th hour. For preparation - I went through ISC2 Domain Questions - I did all the practice questions. ISC2 Practice Tests - 3rd Edition Great resource to prepare for exam. I accessed both through online test bank Wiley. Lastly - I gave myself 3 weeks - and booked exam so I had a goal. What’s my background? 20+ years in Telecommunications - VOIP + Security. I went back to school to upgrade my skills - for Cyber Security. 5 years in Cyber Security - 2.5yrs in Cyber SOC supporting our Military (development/verification in Cyber) - 2.5yrs Identity Access Management & Governance - Security Operations - Have the following Certifications ITILv4, CASP+, CySA, SEC+, Net+, A+, CCNA, Azure Fundamentals, Splunk Fundamentals 1 & 2.
