Tea-Time Question
Hello everyone! I thought it was time for a little bit of fun. ๐Ÿ˜Š Our GourmetQuilter Studio Corner family is growing so nicely (welcome to all our new members!), so here's a question that I think every quilter can answer... Cast your vote, then tell us a little more in the comments. I'd love to hear your quilting story... and don't worry, this is a judgement-free zone. I suspect quite a few of us may have more than one project on the go! Happy stitching, SusanClaire ๐Ÿงต ...because quilting is delicious! Which one sounds most like you?

Oh, the enticing fabrics! And all the possibilities... and more options...and sewing often seems slow. Collecting and designing, yes! And reading tips, and seeing all the pretty quilts others are making! Isn't it delightful to see a quilt pattern interpreted so many ways?
Be honest... what's the oldest piece of fabric in your stash?
I do actually have a couple of pieces of antique fabric, but I also have lots of older fabrics that I have been reluctant to use as I wouldn't have them any more! Do you older fabrics, we would love to hear about them.

Hmmm. A few pieces cut for quilts and never incorporated, from my grandmother, from the 1930s and 40s. Some upholstery fabrics from the 1960s. Scraps from my school clothes from the early 1960s, especially one piece from my lucky dress with elephants on it!
The GourmetQuilter Gazette Issue 3
๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ Read all about it!! Yay - a new issue is right here! Vol. - 1 Issue 3 is available now. So exciting, pop on over and have a look at what Shirley made, thank you, your quilt looks great. This is a monthly publication and would love reader in-put, so please let me know if you would like to have something included - thanks. It is available to view and download in the "Classroom" tab, just look for The GourmetQuilter Gazette. Enjoy!

The ripper is the one that doesn't belong....but it keeps working its way back. Alas.
Heading to Chicago soon
I am getting ready to head to Chicago at the end of April, I will be attending the H&H wholesale show and also the Fiber & Fabric Festival - will any of you be there at all?
