What Is with Allah Endures
“Whatever you have will perish, but what is with Allah will remain. And We will surely reward those who were patient according to the best of what they used to do.” (Surah An-Naḥl, 16:96) It is reported that Ḥafṣah bint Sīrīn had a son who was exceptionally dutiful to her, and he passed away. She said: “Allah granted me of patience whatever He willed to grant, yet I continued to feel a tightness in my chest that would not go away. Then one night, while I was reciting, I came upon this verse. I repeated it again and again, and Allah removed what I had been feeling.” If a truthful and noble king were to ask you to be patient over something, promising you a great reward for your patience, would you not show beautiful patience? Then what of a promise and a reward whose Giver is the King of all kings, glorified and exalted is He?

This is a beautiful reflection, jazakAllah khayr. I was remembering something Sh. Muhammad Al-Shareef (RH) used to say, recently: "Who asks for a penny from a King?" And in a hadith that I heard from Sh. Dr. Yasir Qadhi at a live lecture, Allah (SWT) surely gives patience to those who ask Allah (SWT) for patience.
Reflection
“And the king said, ‘Bring him to me.’” — [Qur’an] The virtue of knowledge: the knowledge of rulings and sacred law, the knowledge of interpreting dreams, and the knowledge of management and nurturing. This knowledge is superior to outward appearance, even if that appearance reaches the beauty of Yusuf (Joseph). For it was because of his beauty that he faced tribulation and imprisonment, whereas it was because of his knowledge that he gained honor, status, and authority in the land. Indeed, every good in this world and the next springs from the effects and requirements of knowledge. — [As-Sa‘di, p. 410]

Interesting, jazakAllah khayr. Beauty is what Allah (SWT) gives us and knowledge pursuit is what we do in this life to seek out Allah and His Noor. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Both are blessings if Allah Ta'ala wills and they're not meant to be squandered and rather should be utilized.

﴿وَشَرَوۡهُ بِثَمَنِۭ بَخۡسࣲ دَرَ ٰ⁠هِمَ مَعۡدُودَةࣲ وَكَانُوا۟ فِیهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّ ٰ⁠هِدِینَ﴾ “They sold him for a paltry price — a few counted silver coins — and they were among those who had little interest in him.” [Surah Yūsuf 12:20] Reflection “A man from among the best of the people of the earth being sold for a cheap price did not reduce his true worth in the slightest. great individuals are not harmed when the ignorant fail to recognize their value.”

Reflection
He (the son) said, “I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water.” He (Noah) said, “There is no protector today from the command of Allah except for whom He has mercy.” And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned. — [Surah Hūd, 11:43] Reflection: when trials and tribulations surge, follow the path of the believers, no matter what people say about their means of salvation. They are under the protection of Allah. Do not incline toward the sinners, even if they cling to mountains as strong as the firmest peaks.

JazakAllah khayr, Ustadh, for this reflection. I think another way to think about this verse is that, put simply, if you do the right thing at the right time (for the sake of Allah), Allah (SWT) will protect you and raise your status in this life (and the Next, In shaa Allah). This concept is something we are advised to do in the Quran and Sunnah from my understanding and is something that brought about success for the believers in the past (and even now, if community members can reflect and relate to this idea).
Reflection
> “Indeed, Allah does not set right the deeds of the corrupters.” (Surah Yunus, 10:81) And thus — every corrupter (mufsid) who performs an act, plots a scheme, or engages in deceit — his actions will inevitably be nullified and vanish. Even if his work seems to find acceptance or success for a time, its ultimate end is decay and destruction. As for the righteous (the reformers, al-muṣliḥūn)—those whose intentions in their deeds are solely for the sake of Allah and whose actions are beneficial and divinely commanded—Allah will rectify, elevate, and continually nurture their deeds. Question: What is the ultimate outcome of corrupt deeds? And what is the ultimate outcome of righteous deeds? Reference: Tafsīr al-Saʿdī, p. 371

Allah (SWT) beautifies those deeds done for His sake as Allah (SWT) is the source of all beauty and goodness and the Prophet (S) encouraged us to do good deeds with gentleness and compassion. Hence, the outcome of all righteous deeds is nothing but the beautiful, serene gardens of Jannah. Likewise, fasad leads to self-destruction, and self-destruction without genuine repentance leads to Jahannam.
