Be honest… would you let AI build your Shopify store?
AI can now help with product research, store design, product descriptions, images, and even the overall setup. But here’s what I’m curious about: Can AI actually build a store that looks and feels like a real brand or does it still need a human touch? I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried Storebuild.ai. What was your experience? .....Did it save you time? ......What did you still have to change manually? ....... Would you use it again for your next store? Let’s hear the real experiences — not the sales pitch.

I’ve used AI for different parts of building a store, and I think it can definitely save a lot of time, especially with product research, content, and getting the initial structure in place. But I still believe the human touch matters when it comes to making the store feel like a real brand. For me, the biggest thing I’d look at with Storebuild.ai is how much of the finished store actually feels ready to launch versus how much still needs to be refined manually—branding, messaging, product positioning, and the overall customer experience. I’d definitely be interested in hearing real experiences from people who have actually built a store with it rather than just relying on the sales pitch.
One Shopify App You Can't Live Without?
Quick question for experienced sellers: What's one app or tool you can't run your Shopify store without?

@Simon Bartle Hey how're you doing? i can see we are both in the same community and i thought i could say hi, hope you're enjoying it as i am
when I built my first Store.
I was ten, my brother eight, and together we thought we’d struck gold. Forget lemonade — we were selling Oros Cordial, proudly renamed Fanta Orange, fizzed up with soda water like it was the most exclusive drink in town. That little stand turned our street into something bigger. We called it Amazon Road, and soon it wasn’t just a place to sell drinks — it was a legend. Neighbors came not only for the orange fizz but for the laughter, the sticky cups, and the sense that something special was happening right there on the pavement. To anyone else, it was just a quiet road. To us, it was the birthplace of our first empire, a place where childhood imagination transformed cordial into “Fanta Orange” and a simple street into Amazon Road, forever etched in our summer stories.

Storebuilding last night
I went through the storebuilding webinar last night. It was a long evening, after the Zendrop promo I bought the discounted Premium package. then it went into what I think was Openly(?) which seemed to be a series of AI apps that help with store operations. After more than 2 hours of that we began to build the store. It was very difficult for me to do and I had to stop, they posted a stoppable video of the store build procedure. Without that I would not have been able to complete my store, switching from browser to zoom is exceedingly difficult, especially when the screens on my machine do not match the screens Adrian was showing. I ran into difficulty when it came to turning the password off. it took almost an hour with different levels of Shopify help to solve the problem. Apparently you have to have a Business address in the form to be given the ability to delete the password problem. Sage Reynolds 1:21pm Then I was able to see my store, when I opened it there was a cartoonish title block and there were only 12 products, not the hundred that I had been promised during the store build. On top of that Shopify was trying to sell me website templates for the landing page. Everything is $200 -$475 or so. There is also the mystery of Webby asking the day before the webinar for me to choose a niche. I think I chose Home and Garden but when I opened the store it appeared to be a flex store ( that's okay but why the webby request/demand?) after that more than 3 hour ordeal I wrote to the Morrisons for support which they had said would be quick, there has been no answer and it is now about 1:15 the day following the webinar. I am exhausted and not very happy. I will have to either move a domain name from my other shopify store or buy yet a third domain, the current name looks like a secure password... This has been tiring and I HAVE to make this work. We need the income and I have a eviction court date about 3 weeks from now. There is still no place for me to move... we have been searching intensively, there isn't any place close or big enough available for a reasonable rent.

Wow, that sounds like an incredibly exhausting experience, especially after spending more than three hours trying to get everything set up. I’m really sorry you’ve had to deal with so many unexpected issues on top of waiting for support. I can understand why you’re frustrated, especially when you were expecting a much more straightforward store-building process and a larger number of products. Please don’t feel like you’ve failed though you’ve already managed to get through a lot of the difficult setup. If you don’t mind me asking, what does your store look like now, and what part are you most concerned about getting fixed first? Maybe I can share some things that helped me when I was dealing with Shopify store setup and getting everything organized. I’m really hoping you get the support you need quickly and that things start coming together for you.
Creating Store Logo and Site
I have a brand logo that I'm trying to incorporate into my pet store. I'm using editor. But when I'm looking into other store creators it's all actual people and very modern. I'm torn on what's the best route. I'm really behind in getting my store up n running. Any help would be appreciated ❗️

I completely understand getting the store looking professional while still keeping your own brand identity can be overwhelming, especially when you feel like you’re already behind. I wouldn’t rush to change your logo just because other stores use photos of people. A clean, modern design that matches your pet brand can work really well. If you don’t mind me asking, have you already finished the main pages and product listings, or are you still working on the overall design? I’d be happy to hear where you’re currently stuck.
