A Heart to Heart My Vision For Community Here
A little something I’ve been reflecting on deeply šŸ’› Community can mean many things. This is my vision for this space. It’s built on three pillars: šŸ“š Curated Education: Learn Together You don’t need more information. You need clearer, better information led by compassion and evidence. I curate and guide the curriculum so you don’t have to sort through noise, fear, or bias. 🌱 Proactive Community: Be Together This is a proactive community. We’re not here to swap treatments or react to the last cycle or supplement. We’re here to grow, sharing how we’re creating aligned, meaningful actions towards a lifestle that dims the intensity of PCOS, hormone, metabolic and cycle health over time. This is bigger than tips and tricks. It's a catalyst for change and identity. For radical self-respect. For taking care of ourselves not because we have to, but because we appreciate our bodies and want to honour them. šŸ” Accountability: Grow Together We show up with our Sunday Shift intentions, using a framework that supports growth, not perfection. We support each other’s self-led goals. Consistency over intensity. Together, we rise. Mel šŸ’›

A consistency powerhouse move...
Wearing my favourite, prettiest, most expensive shoes tonight 🤣 It’s not what is the best exercise for PCOS, insulin resistance, fill in the blank. It’s what movement brings me joy and what I’ll want to do over and over and over again. I hadn’t skated regularly since graduating university. This September, with a nudge from a friend, I signed up for a weekly session all season and I’m so grateful I’m back. It fills so many buckets in so many ways. AND I’m just getting over my fear of falling and started doing some of my double jumps again šŸ™ƒ Anything you did as a kid you could try again? Anything you wanted to do as a kid but never did? I’m so proud of an adult figure skating learner I met. She said her parents wouldn’t let her do it as a kid, and now that she’s an adult… she’s doing it herself 🄹 Any movement that fills more than one cup? That’s more than an exercise checkmark? Share below šŸ‘‡

Aww love that you tried skating again! So I had a bike when I was younger but never really learned how to ride. About 2-3 years ago my husband convinced me to try again. So with his help and some practice, I can ride a bike as an adult!
Joyeux Noƫl and/or happy holidays vibes
Wishing all those who celebrate Merry Christmas and to those who celebrate in other ways wishing you time with your loved ones. My eldest born xmas morning turns 7 today. Our 8th xmas with her. I laboured from 11pm on the 24th. She was born the morning of the 25th at home with our incredible midwife. We told our parents we had a bad sleep and if they would be ok if we delayed brunch by a few hours. This gave my husband time to dismantle the birth pool and the mifwives to do all the post baby and mom checks. Our parents walked into our living with me holding my baby girl on the couch in absolute shock (since we had had xmas eve dinner together). We filmed the entrances (they staggered in) and their discovery will be forever be our most memorable xmas. We had brunch (our sweet parents made it all, I was so hungry) then we parted ways so that me,my hubby and our new Babe could nap. So grateful for everything beyond our control that went right to make that absolutely unplannable moment happen šŸ’œ

A little quote ... the difference between school and life
The difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson -Tom Bodett Reading a book that quoted this and i like it. First time i hear it. What are some of your favorites ??

A quote one of my members shared today. I absolutely loved it: ā€œWe are human beings, not human doings. It’s okay to take quiet time.ā€
