Visual Specs
Hi @Martina Long When developing visuals for led screens - where do we find the specs for ships ? I suspect itโ€™s varies from ship to ship - is there a โ€œgeneral โ€œ spec that will work on all ships ? Or do we need different designs/ specs for each ship?? Im looking for the information to send to screen developers.. its the first question they are asking lol Thanks

๐ŸŒž Is anyone working on charts?!
Good morning, friends! Be sure to head over to the Classroom tab, where you'll find: - An example of a completed chart - A sample of what the click track for your chart will sound like - A completed track Reminder: You'll need one chart per song, per instrument in your show. Have a great day, and let me know if you have any questions!

Commission
Is your agency paid by the cruise line ? Or do you take a commission from your acts? If you take a commission what is your percentage?

@Martina Long is a contract considered as per show? Or per sailing ? If I do 2 shows on the same sailing is that 2 paid contracts at say $2500/each show ? Or $2500 for the full amount of time youโ€™re onboard - even if you have to do 2 shows and something extra ? Like a farewell show .. ? Also I see some guest entertainers having to sit with / host guest for dinner - is this extra pay? Or is this a part of the general contract as well?

@Martina Long I agree with your statementโ€ฆ but if there is a โ€œrequirement โ€œ I was just curious how that worked .. Thanks
Q:
Is it possible to have multiple acts submitted with whoever is your cruise agent (i.e. booking your โ€˜Soul/RnB Experienceโ€™ show for one cruise, and your musical theater show for another)?

Are you paid per show ? If the cruise line buys both shows .. and you perform say on a Tuesday and a Friday .. 2 Different shows .. that essentially is 2 different performances- ?
Before you submit to agencies...watch this 6 minute video! ๐ŸŽค
Hi friends! ๐Ÿ‘‹โœจ I thought Iโ€™d stop by and share the typical requirements needed for a complete package that can be presented to a cruise ship entertainment agency. ๐Ÿšข These are the basic foundational pieces (along with your filmed performance reels, of course!). If you donโ€™t have these three things ready yet, there are still a few important items to gather before you're truly submission-ready. Having these materials prepared will also help agencies quickly assess whether you're ready & a good fit for the opportunities they represent. ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽญ Keep in mind that requirements can vary slightly between agencies and cruise lines, but these are the core elements that most will expect to see. โœ… ๐Ÿ‘‡ Check out the video below and let me know in the comments: ๐Ÿ’ฌ Which of these do you already have completed?๐Ÿ“‹ Which are you still working on?โ“ Do you have any questions about the process? Iโ€™m always happy to help and point you in the right direction! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’™

Your agency asks for exclusive - That can be difficult when a performer is new and just wants to work - I understand that you can not guarantee any work or a full schedule- but if a performer has more then 1 agent working on their behalf that increases their chances of working steady - what is your strategy/ Plan for that if one has to be exclusive?
