Work in progress...
I've been working on my album for about a year now, and finally I'm starting to get the mixes to where I need them to be. I'm doing the production, and engineering and the mixing all by myself with the addition of a buddy coming into play guitar or keys here and there lol... Like I said, I'm still mixing the project but I'd like yall to let me know what you think of the music...

@TouchTone Dsg I appreciate your input thank you. I'm at a point in my music career where i feel like I've gained the experience to not only produce on this level but also to speak with absolute freedom. I"m so happy that you mentioned motion pictures, the choice was intentional. As much as the music is for the masses, I've come to realise that there is more to releasing on DSPs.
It's almost time. And no, not everybody's getting it.
For months you've watched me build MIXSTEIN in front of you — an AI that doesn't just talk about your mix, it opens Ableton and makes the moves. Real devices. Real settings. On your session, not in some cloud demo. Last week I watched it read a record against a J Dilla instrumental, tell me exactly where the mids were lying, and prescribe the moves — and when it had nothing worth fixing, it said nothing. That's the part that took the longest to build: a tool with restraint. Tools that make moves are everywhere. Tools that know when NOT to are not. Here's where it stands: MIXSTEIN is going out very, very soon — but not wide. First it goes into the hands of a small group of creators while I'm personally on the line with each of them. They stress it, break it, shape it. Then it expands from there. Then the real thing arrives for everybody else — and by then it'll have been battle-tested by people who actually mix. If you've been waiting for the moment to pay attention, this is it. Question for the room: if MIXSTEIN could take ONE thing off your plate the first time you open it — what would you pick? Answers here genuinely shape what the first group gets.

Firstly to the Boardroom, How exciting is this? How long has each and every one of in here been on the fence about incorporating AI into our work flow? Well, I'll speak for myself..I have! Hear me out, I'm not against AI at all. What I was against is the generic plug it in and it does everything for you without actually teaching you anything. No tweaking it to what your tastes are or adding to you skill sets. This is what I'm so excited about, the chance to actually learn from where I'm at and increase my knowledge of mixing. Obviously, like what @Michael Garris and @Justin Henry said here when they mentioned, prepping sessions, setting up templates, you know, all things that get us to the fun stuff the mixing, the adding of our styles to our projects is a huge given for sure. I'm looking more forward getting to learn why i make the decisions that i do when it comes to mix. The consistency that will come from me using this "Tool" this "Assistant". For me thats what Mixstien is, its not a program its a teacher. I'm really looking forward to this.
This is going to pay dividends for the future.
I had to take this week and do what I had to do in the studio. That way, moving forward, there would be no hiccup with Mixstein and what I'm teaching it to do right now. This is where I'm currently at.
This is going to pay dividends for the future.

AYEE! First of Happy Bday to the MRS! Secondly, I think it's so important to step away for a second. Refresh, Reset, Resume. we see the spaceship lol what a crazy setup! Happy you are in a position to step away from things and enjoy the life you are building for yourself man.
This Mixstein feature is a game changer.
I wanted to be transparent with you all and let you know some of the things that Mixstein can do. This one is very powerful because it can teach you what you're missing, how to understand it, and how to hear it as well.

Just sat down and watched the video! You are pioneering and it is outstanding work sir! I'm very proud to be a part of this community and what you and everyone in here is doing. I'm super excited put this to work. Like @Russ Lucas I work in multiple genres and I totally understand your explanation here, your as and engineer/producer bring in Mixtien and have it teach you the nuances of mixing to the genre you put in front of it, along with having it understand the previous work you have done to guide you to the goal that your looking for in whatever scenario your at. It's really an invaluable tool you've created here @TouchTone Dsg truly spectacular bud!
Vocal Aligning
Morning from Zimbabwe! I just wrapped an early session. I'm manually aligning vocals of which I like doing (although time consuming) because I like the control i have over making stack and harmonies feel and sound natural as opposed to what a plugin would do. @TouchTone Dsg I don't think I asked this, will Mixstien be able to handle this task too...the key word.... TASTE?
