Hi everyone, my name is Moyo. I live in Toronto, ON, and I currently work as a Talent Specialist - primarily working on executing talent programs such as campus, recognition, performance, and compensation programs. A major career goal of mine is working towards a more senior or managerial HR role in Talent, but I'm also considering pivoting into tech (project/product management). It's a little daunting because I have 0 clue about that world, and it feels scary to start. I'd like more clarity about the day to day and the career progression of a project or product manager. Is there a possibility for me to even make the pivot with my HR background? When I'm not working, I enjoy yapping with my friends. I co-host a podcast (Peas In A Podcast) with one of my closest friends, and we talk about all things adulthood, community & wellness. I also enjoy travelling, listening to music, and exploring the city!
