Direct Steering VS countersteering slow speed
What is actually the proper method for slow speed cornering under 30km/h ? Some ppl tell me that under 30km/h you need to direct steer, and above you should use countersteering. Other people told me I should always countersteer (what Iโm doing right now) but I am wondering if maybe that is the issue of why Iโm sometimes not taking my turns correctly?

I was taught that counter steering is not possible in low speed maneuvers. If you have a nice, straight road - try it out several times increasing the speed. Try to you push the right/left handle away from you lightly and observe, where the bike goes. 60km/h+ definitely would be counter steering, but there is no specific number :)

I want to improve my cornering skills
I always have feeling that my bike will slip off in corner like,I don't trust the tires but they are basically new 2000 miles on them,maybe it's just feeling nothing else, I'm that guy that have chicken strips ๐

Track Day training helped mi a lot - instructors pointed out the issues and provided ways to improve. No racing, just exercise! Of course not everyone has access to a track, but it is an "extra" option I would recommend ๐

My name is Agnieszka, but you can call me Aga (Gaga with no "G") ๐ Me and my husband started our motorcycle journey in autumn of 2023. In Poland, you have to pass a theory an a quite hard practice test to get a driving licence ๐ฅฒ Fortunately, we did it. ๐ช๐ป When I was a teenager I used to ride as a backpack with my friends. Since then I wanted to ride myself one day. I wasted 8 years thinking that I am to weak to practice on the exam motorcycle (Yamaha MT07)... And I couldn't be more wrong ๐ Thanks to my husband, I tried and I did it. I see a lot of women thinking the same and not trying - do not make my mistake, just try and make your dream come true! ๐ We joined the "Motoholics" motorcycle group which - one of the few - respect riding culture and regulations... Now I am one of the leaders of the group, organizing and leading one-day rides with my husband. Downshifting with Rev Match while constant front brake pressure
I live in Dhaka the Capital City of Bangladesh. Everyday I ride to office from home. Everytime when I get on my bike I focus on some skills development like swerving, counter steering, throttle control and rev matching with constant front brake pressure along with vision and barin train. Here is my two question: One is, I can't understand why do I need rev match while constant front brake pressure. And two is, while I blip the throttle my front brake pressure is not remain even.

When I need to use a brake when downshifting in a mid/low speed, sometimes I use just a little bit of rear brake - but you have to be careful.

@Suja Khan exactly! So that's why we have to be careful to do not use it too much and cause a slide :)

Unexpected car's malfunction
What did my husband do wrong, class? ๐ The driver was very apologetic. Older man in an old car.๐ No damage done.

@Robert Moeser I genuinely think it wasn't done on purpose - car's rear wheels locked completely and slided a bit. No train or car was coming and the driver was an elderly man, he felt guilty about it. No road rage at all.
