Ask Me Anything About Substack 😄
Every Sunday, we do a little Q&A day inside the community! Because honestly… most creators stay stuck on small problems for way too long when one good conversation could solve it in 10 minutes. So today, ask me anything 👀 - newsletter growth - getting subscribers - comments/networking - content ideas - consistency - setup/bio - monetization - or just anything funny or to connect (don't mind making friends haha) And if there’s already a lesson, framework, or resource inside the classroom that can help you, I’ll point you to it too 🙌 No question is “too basic” here. We’re all trying to improve together and make real progress each week. So… what’s ONE thing you’ve been struggling with recently? 👇

@William Leroux Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to answer my questions, it really helps. So it's just a matter of settings in Substack and telling people how it works. Monthly content production sounds a lot, but it could also be a good strategy to get people in a paid offer.

@William Leroux thank you 🙏
Midweek Check-In 😄
Let’s do something a little different today. We talk a lot about growth, newsletters, and Substack in here… But I also want this community to actually feel human and fun, not just “growth!growth!growth!" So today: Share ONE fun fact about yourself to connect and smile a little👇 Could be: - your job outside Substack - a hobby - your favorite animal - what you want to do this summer - something random about your life - or even something surprising about your writing journey For example: 4 years ago, I honestly didn’t even like writing. I thought it was terrible. Funny to think that now I want to build my whole life around it haha Curious to know more about everyone in here!

@Meagan Carner as I always say, I'm all about moving forward in life, but my musical tastes are happily stuck in the past 🥰 What an era!
Why people keep getting stuck after the setup
At first, everything feels exciting. You create your account.Fix your bio. Build your setup.Write your “Start Here” post. And for a moment, it feels like you’re finally building something real. But then a weird phase starts. You post. You try Notes. Spend hours writing.Maybe you even stay consistent for weeks… …and almost nothing happens. That’s usually the moment where people start doubting themselves. They think:“Maybe my niche is bad.”“Maybe my content sucks.”“Maybe Substack is just luck.” But honestly? Most creators are not failing because they’re lazy.They’re failing because nobody taught them how growth actually works on Substack. Nobody explains that growth mostly comes from: - visibility - relationships - positioning - conversations - systems that save you from wasting months guessing So people stay stuck posting into the void, hoping Notes magically change everything. I know because I went through that exact phase too. And that’s also why the Substack Accelerator exists: to help creators go from “I have a setup” to “I actually know how to grow.” But before that, make sure you truly finished Module 1 and 2 first. A weak foundation makes growth 10x harder. One action for today 👇 Go into your niche. Find ONE viral Note with a lot of comments. Then spend 15–20 minutes replying to people and starting real conversations. Just becoming visible and building connections naturally. That’s where a lot more growth starts than people realize. Want to know more of the full system to save 10x more time. Go check the Substack Accelerator page in the Classroom.

Live Growth Board Week #10
Welcome back to a Live Growth Board! (We have a bunch if new members!) Where you get the chance to see your progress each week, ask question and be accountable. Which is the best way to grow on Susbtack and in this community too. Each Monday, we share our work, stats and progress in the classroom! It’s also a great way for me, and the community, to support and cheer each other on. Just share your update like I did below 👇 For me: Subscriber count: 1600 (previously 1562) Open rate: 22% (previously 24%) Notes published: 21 (previously 22) Growth comments: 250 (Growth comments is one of the main action that drive me growth, you find more details in the Substack Accelerator Classroom work: I created a new section called Substack Stages and Services where you can discover what you should focus on based on where you are, go check it out! (A new way to stay accountable!) I gained 40 more subscribers this week, all thanks to commenting, you can see the difference with my comments now and the previous week.💪

@William Leroux Thanks a lot! It's really helpful!
Why you’re not seeing growth (even when you’re active)
Every Thursday we do a small accountability sprint in here. Because most people don’t fail from lack of effort… they fail from lack of consistency in the right actions. I’ve seen it myself before building this system, and I still see it with most new creators:they post, they try things, but nothing really compounds. And the real shift usually happens when you start doing the boring fundamentals consistently, not more strategies. That’s exactly what I built inside my Comment Method system (especially Module 3), where accountability + daily engagement becomes the engine of growth. 🎯 Thursday Sprint (keep it simple) Pick 2–3 things max: - Go leave meaningful comments (or engage with posts in your niche, at least 15) - Send 1–2 DMs (subscribers or potential partners, at least 3) - Improve ONE thing: Just execution. 📊 Accountability Comment below what you did today.👇 Question: What’s the one thing you’ve been avoiding that would actually move your growth forward?💪

I also commented, I'm not a social media person so this takes a lot out of me. But still doing it.

@William Leroux Killing the fear and the belief (commenting is like playing the Russian roulette) that's been reinforced by facts (which is hard to break) but still going
