That is such a cool GIF
ND attracts ND (and I didn’t realise how universal this was)
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve really clicked with someone — easy conversation, depth straight away, zero awkwardness — and then halfway through I think: 🧠 Hold on… are you neurodivergent? They are! 🤗 Every. Single. Time. And when I started asking others, the response was the same: “Yes. That happens to me too.”🙋‍♀️ Different lives. Different labels. Same pattern.🧩 It’s not about diagnosis. It’s not about being “similar people”. It’s nervous systems recognising each other. There’s less masking. Less explaining. More jumping between topics without apology. More honesty, intensity, humour, quiet, tangents, depth. It feels like relief — not effort. And that’s why so many ND adults look around one day and realise: their closest friends are ND, their partner is ND, their children are ND, their safest spaces are ND-led. Not by design. By resonance. This isn’t about excluding NT people — it’s about understanding why some connections feel grounding and others feel draining, even when everyone is kind. ❤️ Once you see the pattern, you can’t unsee it. 🌈 💬 Have you noticed this too? When you really click with someone — does it usually turn out they’re ND?

"Birds of a feather" I didn't notice until a saw a video one day about it and my brain about exploded.
🌿Root Drop – Something That Stopped Me This Week🌿 (#4)24hrs! 🎟️ ⭐
🌱 Something that genuinely stopped me in my tracks this week… I walked in expecting background noise or a game. Instead, my 7-year-old was watching a video on Einstein’s theory of relativity, moons, and black holes 🌌 No prompting. No agenda. Just curiosity doing what curiosity does. It reminded me how often the world quietly surprises us when we’re not rushing past it. 💬 Root Drop: What surprised you this week? A moment, a thought, something you noticed, something that made you pause. Big or small — all of it counts - doesn't need to be child related 🌱

We have a family of deer that have a trail through our backyard and seeing them always gives me a bit of pause.

@Ellie Hayes oh man I don't get to see foxes and hedgehogs much around here. Not to say I haven't. Just very rare.
📚 Level 7 – Module Unlock
I’ve been thinking about what actually makes sense to unlock as people spend more time here. I do use things like giveaways and prompts to encourage engagement — not as bribes, but because conversation and reflection are how this space stays alive. That part’s intentional... And fun. But Level 7 feels like a different point. By then, you’ve spent time reading, noticing patterns, asking questions, or quietly making sense of things in your own head. You’re not just passing through. I value you all so much and wanted to show my appreciation! So from Level 7, I’m unlocking Module 1: 📚 PDA – What It Really Is (and What It Isn’t) — free. This module exists because PDA is still so widely misunderstood. Not just online, but in schools, services, and parenting advice. It covers: what PDA actually refers to what it’s often confused with why so many common approaches escalate rather than help and how a regulation-first lens changes how we respond No pressure to “do” anything with it. No expectation to engage in a certain way. It’s there when you’re ready. If you’re already Level 7, you’ll see it unlock automatically. If you’re not there yet, just keep using the space in whatever way works for you. I am also working on some more cards! ⭐ (Will also be available at level 7 when complete) They’re called Demand Translator Cards. They’re just examples of how I phrase everyday things so they don’t turn into a battle with my PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) children! Not scripts. Not rules. Just options. That’s it. 🌿

✨ This Week’s Top Engagers – Thank You ✨
I just want to pause for a moment and appreciate the people who are quietly (and not so quietly) helping this space grow 🌱 Showing up. Commenting. Asking thoughtful questions. Sharing lived experience. That’s what turns a group into a community.. Huge thank you to this week’s top engagers on the leaderboard: 🔥 @Oddysey Campbell 🔥 @Jason Scott 🌿 @Krystal Strickland 🔥 @Jason Dobbie 🔥 @Morgan Davis 🔥 @Robin Lewis 🌿 @Work With Lizzy 🌿 @Mel Gram 🌿 @Ashley Dobbie 🔥 @Sierra Melcher Whether you’re here daily or dipping in when you can — it all matters. Every interaction helps shape the tone, safety, and depth of this space 🤍 If you’re newer or quieter, just know: there’s no pressure here. You’re welcome exactly as you are 🌳
