Hi everyone, I hate Facebook so I'm grateful you have set this up @Phil Wheatley! I am in Sydney, Australia. My story is the Commodore 64 was the first family computer we got. My brothers were into it, but for me it was like something awakened inside me. :D It was all about games of course, but from early on I wanted to start making my own games. I loved playing around with SEUCK and even tried to learn some assembly. But at that young age I couldn't really grasp it. On the Amiga I made it further with making games and made quite a few in AMOS and Blitz Basic. Then when I moved onto MacOS I made some proper shareware games there. When the iPhone came out I ported a snowboarding game I had made for MacOS and that got some attention from Apple. But I missed the App Store gold rush and it became harder and harder to get anyone to download my games. Around 2019 I had started to notice the C64 scene still thriving on social media and decided to give up on mobile games and see if I could fulfil my childhood dream of making a C64 game. Now with experience making games on various platforms, modern tools, and the huge amount of online resources I managed to make that a reality and have since released Monster Catcher, Knights and Slimes, Muddy Racers, and infeZtation. It's safe to say I'm hooked on being back on the C64 after so many years. :) You can find my games here: https://monteboyd.itch.io/ https://www.protovision.games/games/muddyracers.php?language=en
