Arcade games and the C64
The C64 and arcade conversions have been linked since its very inception after all its first recognised game Jupiter Lander was a clone of Lunar Lander. Which were the best arcade conversations & which were the worst? which arcade games were you most looking forward to being converted to the 64 and were you happy or disappointed with the result? Which arcade game did you wish had been converted and wasn’t? Which arcade games did you only find out about after playing it on the 64? And were there any 64 conversions that were actually better than the arcade game they were taken from? I’ll start with Green Beret. I had never played this in the arcade but thought it was amazing on the 64. After the advent of MAME and finally getting to play the arcade version I actually think the 64 version is better.

@Mayhem Chaosinsky Yeah, these are certainly two awesome conversions!
COMPETITION TIME - Win a classic edition of C&VG Magazine
Hi Gang - As promised, here's our first competition. As you know, I'm keen to grow our group a bit, so I thought of something that could help us all. To win a chance of winning the pictured classic edition of Computer and Video Games magazine, all you have to do is invite 1 person (or more) to our Commodore Brotherhood. This will put you in a draw and I will pick a winner at random, and send the magazine to you for free, wherever in the world you live! To invite properly (so it tracks your name as the inviter), if you're on your mobile, tap the 3 dots button top right and choose "Invite People". If you're on a computer, go to the MEMBERS tab at the top and choose "Invite". Hint, there are many Facebook 64 groups with people you could ask :-) I'll leave this competition open until Monday 13th! p.s. Thanks to all of you who have already invited people. Good luck!

Commodore Collections
I started gathering the cassettes I used to have as a kid, and then I started the Hit Squad trail. I also collect the Kixx tapes and Mastertronic. Im about 10 tapes away from owning every Mastertronic/Ricochet/Americana game for C64. Do you collect anything C64 related? Share yours here and photos? Whats the rarest game you own?

@Jason Abbott Your collection is amazing mate. That must have taken some time laying all those out!! I'm hoping with my next house move, possibly next year, I canfinally get an area where I can have my small collection on shelves rather than stacked all over the place. Having a room dedicated to gaming would be my dream!!

@Dan Rigley That is VERY nice. Last Ninja rocks. I have a mini compilation of Last Nina and Bankgkok Nights.
ANNOUNCEMENT - New Group which I would LOVE you to join!
Hey Guys!! Other than the beloved 64, I have a new group which I'm very passionate about which is about not only teaching AI, but how to use it to generate income. It's brand new and will be free for the first 100. It would mean the world to me if you could join, but I understand if you'd rather not. I will be adding more content soon. @Peter Badrick Hey mate, great to have you with us. Curiosity is a good trait to have, and can at least prepare us for the future. As you say, interesting to see how far it goes, maybe there will be push back down the line before AI just gobbles everyone's job, it's already happening where I work...gulp.

@Xander Mol Hey Xander. Yeah, it sounds like you are already very up on everything AI. I'll more likely reach out to you at some point in the future as there could be scope for knowledge share / JV opportunities or something :-)
Ultimate 2 Cart for the C64
Has any body got a U2C for their C64. Are they any good. To pay over £150 for a cart is it worth it. I have a couple of KFF carts, Action Replay carts and others. It it worth people getting an Ultimate 2 Cart.

Jason said it best when he said there's a reason it's called the Ultimate Cartridge. Over the years, I've bought the SD2IEC, kung fu flash, wifi Cartridge, epyx fast loader Cartridge, pi1541 drive...oh man, if I had just saved at the beginning and bought the UC2, it replaces ALL of those, and does soooooo much more. TOTALLY worth it!
