GPT Installation norms
Hello, hope everyone is doing great today. I am curious if anyone knows what the norm is for website installation on websites. I imagine they use a menu link, a button with a link (that pops up in a new window), or something similar. Does anyone know if it's possible to transform a GPT into a chatbot using JavaScript or a similar tool to modify the appearance from GPT style to a more chatbot-like one? So far I have been experimenting a lot with prompts and GPT instructions and having a lot of fun!

Hey Glenn! Love this question. So here’s the deal… it kinda depends on what you want your chatbot to do. If you want that little bubble in the corner of your site that pops up and looks super “chatbot-y,” you can’t get that from a CustomGPT alone. OpenAI doesn’t give us any embed code or styling options. You've got three options: 1. A chatbot builder like Chatbase or Voiceflow This gives you the bubble-in-the-corner experience, the chat window styling, all of it. Both of these have website integration and from last I checked they both have a free plan. 2. An automation platform like Make or n8n This is the super “techy” option but also very customizable. The possibilities are endless. You can call your CustomGPT via API, control the UI, capture data, send emails… basically build whatever dream agent you want. 3. The simple option Just drop your GPT link behind a button. Clean, fast, zero headache. A great place to start. The only downside is exactly what you said… it’s not integrated into the site design. Everything I know about automations/agents is from AI Jack. I've been in his community for almost a year now. He’s brilliant, generous, and wildly knowledgeable about the backend AI magic. He's also just the kindest warm person. Totally my vibe. My zone is more about showing y'all how to use AI as a tool in your business for creating content, writing, sales, support, and build bots for internal use or as an offer. I hope that helped!
