Thank you! I'm Monica. I have 2 young kids who keep me going and motivated to heal...I hope to get to a point where I am motivated for me too. I was in an abusive marriage for 8 years, and knew nothing about abuse or narcissism at that time. 4 years ago, my SIL called the police for me, a therapist told me that I was in an abusive relationship, and had me read a book called "stop walking on eggshells", and those things really opened my eyes and gave me the courage to leave. It wasn't easy, and I'm still working on healing, but I'm thankful to be divorced. I wish no woman ever had to go through this, but I'm grateful we have each other, and that we are not alone. 💜
