🧠 Real Talk Wednesday – How Are You, Really?
I never thought I could love anyone more than my own daughter! 11 days ago that theory was proven wrong! Nothing could have prepared me for the moment I fell in love with my baby's baby!!! Being a SuperMOM transitioning to SuperGrandMOM is amazing!!!

Congrats @Jennylyn Hart ! My mom told me the exact same thing when my first born was born. It's apparently such a crazy feeling!

Hello supermoms! Here is a bit more about me I don't have a nickname, everybody calls me Marianne except my hubby who calls me "Poussin" which is "chick" in French 😅 I am French from France but lived in Calgary, AB, Canada for 11 years. I have 2 kiddos. Tessa who is 6 and Leo who is 4. Both of them are very sassy, perseverant and stubborn... just like their mom 😎 My biggest strenght is my efficiency and the capacity I have to organize myself. I also think that being positive is a big part of me that helps others. My biggest weakness is over-thinking and perfectionalism but I am working on both! I’m a productivity coach dedicated to helping entrepreneurs create calendars that truly work for them. I also run Kids Craft Club, where I share weekly activity bundles with busy moms who want to connect with their kiddos (without the overwhelm, endless Pinterest scrolling, or having to make one more decision.) I would love to connect with other moms who are in the same boat as me, trying to juggle business with kids and supporting a husband who is not always has his best because of anxiety. I think I found this community when lookingfor mom's group in Discovery and loved the concept of SuperMoms!
Nintendo Switch, Yay or Nay?
Here’s the deal… I’m the oldest of 5, and growing up, we didn’t have a TV (well, except for one tucked away in my parents’ bedroom closet) or any video games. My husband, on the other hand, is an only child with older parents. His childhood was filled with watching TV and playing video games in his room. Now we have a 6-year-old daughter, and the Nintendo Switch is the topic at school. She recently had the chance to win one as a prize for the school fundraiser. She worked so hard, selling 53 boxes of cookies, but unfortunately didn’t snag first place. Now my husband wants Santa to bring her a Switch. I’m not totally against the idea, but today we had a big conversation about how we’d manage her (and our almost 4-year-old’s) screen time if we went through with it. Here’s where we’re at: - We don’t have a TV (just a projector), and screen time is limited. Usually, it’s one family movie on Sunday afternoons, plus a short show now and then when we need some quiet time—maybe 2-3 times a month max. - I think we could set clear rules, like with the projector, so the Switch becomes an occasional treat, not a daily habit. - My husband feels that since it would be “hers,” she should get to use it more often than the projector, especially considering the cost. So, I’m curious—what are your thoughts? - Is 6 too young for a Nintendo Switch? - What rules or boundaries would you recommend if we decide to get one? Would love to hear your experiences or advice!
