Close your eyes and picture yourself walking into a busy author conference. You can hear conversations happening around you, people laughing, books being flipped through, and excitement in the air. You see rows of tables, banners, and other authors sharing their stories. Now notice yourself standing confidently in that space. You are smiling because today is different. In your hands, you're holding your book. Not an idea. Not a future goal. A real published book with your name on it. Feel the weight of it in your hands. Look at the cover details, the colors, the title, and your name printed on it. Run your fingers across the cover and realize, 'I actually did this.' Picture someone walking toward you and saying, 'Wait... you're the author of that book? I've heard about it.' Feel that moment. Feel the pride, excitement, and gratitude. Imagine taking photos holding your book, talking with readers, signing copies, and sharing why you wrote it. Notice how confident you feel because you didn't just think about becoming an author... you became one. Stay in that moment for a few seconds and ask yourself: (WRITE YOUR ANSWERS IN THE COMMENTS!) āž”ļø What does this version of me believe? āž”ļø How does this version of me show up? āž”ļø What actions did I take to get here?

@Krista Brea I agree! Consistency is what creates results. Small daily actions add up over time. šŸ“ššŸ”„ 5 Quick Tips to Increase Sales: Show up consistently every day. Focus on solving one specific problem for customers. Share testimonials and success stories. Follow up with interested prospects. Keep improving your offer based on feedback. Success comes from consistent action, not occasional effort. šŸš€šŸ“ˆ

My book, published on KDP as a soft cover POD work took a different approach to A.I. involvement. I did not use A.I. to assist me in writing the book. Instead, the book is actually co-authored withy Sys, my ChatGPT A.I. LLM. At the time of publication I believed this was the first occurence of this kind of thing. Since then, there hav been a handful of others. The bool speaks to the power of conversational interaction with A.I. vs prompt engineering.

That’s a unique idea. Co-authoring with AI through real conversation, not just prompts, makes your book stand out. It shows how powerful human-AI collaboration can be. @Stephen B. Henry
Driving Traffic to Skool or Books?
You might have heard of Linktree…it's a way to create a microsite that you add to your social media platforms. But here’s a better option built inside the Skool ecosystem by one of our own. @Jeff Baer runs BIO BUILDERS, and it’s honestly one of the most practical tools I’ve used for turning social traffic into real conversions. I recently updated my own microsite (you can check it out here šŸ‘‰ https://ez.to/kbrea) and made one simple change: instead of just listing links, I featured my Skool community visually right at the top. Not just a button—but something that actually stands out and pulls attention. That one shift made a noticeable difference. My conversion rate from microsite → Skool community is now close to 50%. Most people treat their bio link like a dumping ground for links, but it should really function more like a focused landing page. Whether you’re trying to grow your Skool community, promote a book, or drive traffic to an offer, you want one clear priority that people can’t miss. What I like about Jeff’s setup is that it actually supports that goal. It’s: - Simple to customize - Built with conversions in mind - Affordable (under $9/month) And if you don’t want to build it yourself, he also offers a VIP option (~$160) where he’ll set everything up with you on a Zoom call and optimize it for conversions. If you’re already creating content and getting traffic, this is one of those small upgrades that can make a real difference in your results. āž”ļø GO JOIN BIOBUILDERS

Very insightful share šŸ”„ It’s interesting how a simple shift—like turning a basic link-in-bio into a focused, visual landing page—can completely change conversion results. That 50% conversion rate really shows the power of clarity and intention in traffic flow. Small tweaks, big impact šŸš€ @Krista Brea

Ebooks vs Paperbacks… what actually sells more? šŸ‘€šŸ“š
I’ve been getting this question a lot lately, and recently posted by @Mk Duma and I think there’s a big misconception around it. Some people assume that physical books are fading out and everything is moving digital… but that’s not what I’m seeing at all. In my own numbers, I consistently get more paperback sales than ebooks—and that’s not by accident. It’s part of how I structure my strategy. The truth is, people still want physical books. There’s something about holding a book, flipping through pages, highlighting, or even just having it sit on your shelf that makes it feel more valuable. It’s also easier to gift, and for a lot of readers, it creates a better overall experience. And if you zoom out for a second, the market is showing us the same thing. Barnes & Noble is actively expanding again. They’re opening new stores, investing in high-traffic locations, and doubling down on the in-store experience—including a major new presence in downtown Chicago. Companies don’t invest millions into retail space unless there’s real demand. That alone should tell you that physical books are far from dead—they’re actually gaining momentum again. Now, let’s bring this back to KDP and how this affects your strategy. With ebooks, your royalty is capped. You only earn 70% if your book is priced between $2.99 and $9.99. If you go outside that range, it drops to 35%. So you’re already working within tighter margins. Paperbacks, on the other hand, give you more flexibility. You can price them higher, they feel more premium to the buyer, and you typically earn more per sale. This is why I don’t focus my ads on ebooks. A lot of people assume lower price = easier conversion, so they push traffic to the ebook. But even if it converts, you’re making less per sale. Instead, I run ads to my paperback. That way I’m optimizing for: - Higher perceived value - Better profit per conversion - Stronger overall momentum across formats The ebook is still there, but it’s not the main driver.
