Discussion Post: Eclipse Season Reflections
This is a discussion post for the Fireside Gathering article. You can find it in the Classroom under The Fireside Gathering to read the full piece before sharing your reflections. Eclipse season always has a way of stirring things up… shadows rise, endings surface, new paths start demanding attention. For some, it feels heavy and exhausting… for others, it cracks something open that was long overdue. I’m curious—how is this eclipse season moving through your life right now? Do you feel the weight of it in your body, your emotions, your dreams? Or do you notice it more in the practical shifts—relationships, routines, boundaries being tested? Take a moment to reflect and share… how do eclipses affect you? What patterns or lessons are you seeing? And how are you working with the energy this season brings?

I wonder if the eclipse season is why my dreams have been strange lately! That would make sense. I've also been shifting out of recovery mode from a breakup earlier this year and actually taking action to connect to people, work on personal projects, and inject joy into my daily life.
What is your Spiritual Path?
This is a Discussion Post for the Fireside Gathering. Today’s Question: What is your spiritual path? The Fireside is where we share our stories, ask questions, and connect with one another. This prompt is here to spark conversation, so jump in and let your voice be heard. Tell us about your path: - How do you describe it (if you choose to)? - Has it shifted over time, or stayed steady? - What practices, rituals, or values root you most deeply into it? - What draws you most to the way you practice? There’s no right or wrong here—just your experience, offered to the fire. Add your spark, listen to others, and let the connection grow.

I'm still defining what my path looks like. I'm not sticking to any labels, but am open to using witch, seeker, practicioner, etc. Digging into energy play and practice with a partner has been something that sparks my interest in exploring that more deeply as well as trying different practices. Roots are sprouting and finding where they thrive in the soil of spirituality.
Who is your God/dess?
Who Walks Beside You? Some of us feel called to a single god or goddess… others find a whole pantheon resonates… and some walk the path without any divine faces at all. There’s no right answer here… only the one that fits your soul. If you do have a preferred deity or pantheon… I want to know how that connection began. Was it a dream, a synchronicity, a story that reached out and wouldn’t let go? Did they arrive in a time of need… or did you go searching for them and find recognition in their myths? Tell me what it is about your god, goddess, or pantheon that draws you close. Is it their story, their symbolism, the lessons they bring into your life? Or maybe it’s the way they show up in quiet moments… when you least expect it. Share your experience… how you met them… and what keeps you walking with them today.

I'm new and still finding what my relationship to dieties looks like. Either way, I have always loved learning about religion, pantheons, and mythology, so that gives me a good jumping off point. Diana in particular has called to me and I've gotten some confirmation of the connection, so that's been exciting!
This is what a discussion post looks like in the Fireside.
Let’s get started with something simple to break the ice: Where are you from? And tell us one unique thing about your location. It could be: - Something special about your state or region - A local landmark, tradition, or attraction - Or simply what you love (or even dislike!) about where you live Your answers don’t need to be long—just share a glimpse of your world so we can all get to know each other a little better. The Fireside is built on stories, big and small, and this is the perfect way to throw your first log on the fire.

Hi! I'm from a city where we "bleed orange" and am now living one city west of there where the art and music scene is much better 😁
What's one of your favorite everyday routines that connect you with your craft?

I've been learning witchcraft and paganism for almost a year now and would love to make more connections in the community. Feel free to say hi!
