Hello Skoology community I've been somewhat MIA, as I have been dealing with a lot in my life. Obviously I'm not a special case, as we all have busy lives but it's meant that I haven't been as present as I like to be in this community and Skool at large. As I continue to build my community and embark on more exciting projects, I will be here more often and hopefully connecting with all of you, like minded folks. @Donna Thornton and @Todd Thornton thank you for all that you do here and I look forward to the continued growth and success of the community!!

Monday, I said something that might have sounded strange. Your community is already monetizing every single day, even when you're not selling anything. Let me show you how I got there, because the thinking matters more than the conclusion. I kept noticing that the communities people happily pay for aren't the ones with the most content or the slickest offers. They're the ones where something real happened to the member first. This month alone, I watched one member finally launch the community she'd been circling for ages. Another kicked off his first challenge. Another watched her rank climb because she intentionally showed up. Not one of those was a sale. But every one of them was value being built. The quiet, real kind that people will later be glad to pay to stay close to. So, I stopped thinking of monetization as an event, the day you sell something, and started seeing it as something that accumulates quietly, in every small, good moment. The selling, when it comes, is just the moment all that built-up worth finally converts. The money follows the value. It never leads. Here's a small, live example sitting right in front of us. We have a way for members to earn when they share Skoolology. When you tell another builder about this place, and they join and go Premium, you earn 30%, for as long as you're both here. But notice how it's built. It only works if the value came first. Nobody shares something that didn't matter to them. So even the earning is downstream of the worth. Value first, money follows, right there in miniature. (If you'd like your own link: on your phone, tap the three dots at the top, then Invite. To those of you who have already shared this place with someone, thank you, genuinely. It means more than you know.
