Pre-game/ recovery
Does anybody have a pregame routine like any on the lines of like cupping, scrapping, needles, stims, etc. Not like bands and stuff you would do with your team and does anybody have a recovery they do on there own like cold therapy, red light, massage, sauna, etc. I’m trying to get ideas this season to help with my performance wether I have a game the next morning or the next week

@Treagan Rathe I cannot stress enough my success with Kilogear products. https://kilogear.com/products/kilogear-mens-everyday-starter-kit use code THZ, and you can save some cash. Let me know if your order or code is having issues. But this will help just by walking around in this. Red light therapy, I use Kineon, and I can help there too. I would highly recommend making sure you get with someone who is certified for dry needling and scraping. I worked on @Logan Boertje last night with scraping

Games
I know the category is wins as a team we lost but for me I had my cartalige scoped just 2 weeks ago and I’m usually a jv player but since it’s my first game of the season and just got back they moved me to reserve I played mostly the full game there and my knee has no pain so I count it as a win does anybody have advice what I can’t count as a small win next I have practices all week and trying to go off the mound for the first time since the surgery

Define what a measurable goal is. for the next week. Not a stat like batting avg that is not a measurable goal. Things like spending 30 min of recovery after each practice. eating 180g of protein. Throwing 60% strikes in the pen. good luck. small wins are in the eye of the beholder.

@Treagan Rathe not a small win that is a big win. I know a guy that can help. All you have to do is commit the time and we can make somethings happen for you.
Blessing
I have been blessed with the opportunity that some people aren’t I have the opportunity to work and save enough to go to camps and showcases and get recognized I was just checking with some college guys and coaches what are our thoughts on money over skill cause I can not take this job work my butt off and get recognized for my prospects team but my mom says if I wanna do showcases it’s coming out of my own wallet no obviously I have a 1st job saving for college but I don’t know if I take the second job to pay for recruiting when I could be getting better?

A lot is happening here. I am gonna tag some folks, and hopefully they respond. @Logan Boertje @Katlyn Thomas @Jason Christian @Bryan Morales @Aarnarian Snow @Coltan Brooks I have a different approach than most here. If you get a chance to play in college, you have AM lifts, school, practice, study hall, and study time. Some might have to work while in college, some have to find time to work out because of the level of play they are. Some have families. Some have obligations not listed. If you can't navigate working, training, school, and playing how will you navigate this when you will have less time and more priorities? This is where you sit down and structure a plan. If you are trying to wing it, it won't work. Take a dry-erase board, create a large one, and get to work marking things off the board to establish a structure and schedule. PLAN PLAN PLAN. I was a parent in high school. 16 years old. I had a baby (she is in this community), girlfriend, school, job, and sports. I didn't have a cell phone or an insurance bill. Something suffered, which was mostly my school work, GF, and child, for that matter. Something always has to suffer. Why can't you train, go to school, work, and practice/play? Are you willing to sacrifice time or sleep? Assume school starts at 8am. 5 am - Wake up - smash 20oz of water - small bite to eat for energy - protein balls 515 - soft tissue roll 520 - dynamic 535 - hip, ankle, knee mobility 6 am - lift 645 - core 7 am - high protein breakfast 730 shower and head off to school 9 am snack 11 am lunch 1 pm snack 230 snack or big snack for game days. 6 pm dinner 7 pm study time 8 pm bedtime snack Oh, and on weekends, you work two 8-hour shifts to get 16 hrs a week, so you can make some money. I have a product, Kilogear wearable weights, that you can literally wear all day and practice in and get stronger to eliminate a portion of your week literally wearing clothes. Just message me directly, and I can connect the dots there for you.

@Treagan Rathe, yes. One of my favorites, I will post it now. I think like anything trying to smash some water to get rid of that feeling is best or even a shot of protein and milk. It also depends on what your goals are. if you are looking to gain a simple spoonful, PB works great too. These right here have PB2 in them, and this new batch that I made i put 30g of vanilla protein in the mix. I doubled the recipe and just used 200g of PB2 and Vanilla Protein, and I was able to add more protein to the snack. Total protein was about 70g and I had probably 15 bites so about 5g each Ill post one today
