When Your Audience Loves You... But They Still Ain't Buyin' 👀
You've built the content and shown up consistently. You've helped people, shared your expertise, and poured your heart into your business. So why the hell does it still feel like you're working way harder than your revenue reflects? That's exactly why I'm excited about Tiffany Noel Taylor's upcoming Bold to Sold weekend workshop. If you've ever wondered why people engage with your content but don't take the next step, why your audience seems to love you but your sales don't match the effort you're putting in, or why you're stuck creating more and more content hoping something finally clicks... this workshop is for you. The BYOB team and guests will be diving into offers, messaging, visibility, buyer behavior, community growth, and what it actually takes to turn attention into revenue without burning yourself out in the process. I've been following along behind the scenes as she's been putting this together, and there are some powerful conversations planned for the weekend. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for a special guest appearance from yours truly on Friday. 😉 I'll be sharing some of my favorite visibility strategies and talking about how becoming recognizable in the right rooms can create opportunities you never saw coming. If your audience loves you but your revenue isn't reflecting it yet, this might be the weekend you need. See you inside BYOB this weekend for the Bold to Sold workshop! @Tiffany Noel Taylor

🚦 Red Light, Yellow Light, Green Light is back! 🚦
This week's game is brought to you by Skool Homeroom and Pinterest Skool as we gear up for 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗢𝗦 𝟮.𝟬 discussion! Check the calendar for more details and where to register! Visibility starts with clarity. Before people can find you, click your link, join your community, read your blog, or follow your content, they need to understand what they're looking at. That's exactly what this game is designed to help you do. Last week's Billboard Edition generated some fantastic feedback, and quite a few members said they missed it, so we're bringing it back for another round this weekend! This time you can submit either: 🟢 Your billboard (graphic) 🟢 Your one-liner (elevator pitch) 🟢 Or both! 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀? Think one (maybe two) short sentences that make someone want to know more, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮'𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙, but because they're curious! And your "billboard" can be: • Your Skool community card • Your website hero graphic • Your YouTube banner • A social media banner • A featured graphic you use to represent your business • Any visual that serves as your first impression If you're submitting a graphic that isn't your community billboard, please include a little context. Let us know where it lives and how people typically see it. For example: "This is my YouTube banner." "This is the hero section on my website." "This is my Skool community banner." That context helps members give more relevant feedback. 💡 If you have a Skool community, now is a great time to get your billboard working in your favor. With Skool continuing to increase visibility opportunities through Facebook, it's only a matter of time before they begin testing traffic from other sources too and your community card may be one of the first things people see before deciding whether to click!

@Lisa Drennon I do need to specify what kind of creator. It's for content creators and getting paid from the content they create. UGC = user generated content It's a skill, not a digital product exactly. Creators create content reviewing products for brands and the brand pays you a flat rate for your content.

@Michelle Cyr I forgot to spell it out instead of abbreviating so thanks for the reminder. UGC= user generated content It's creating content, reviewing products for brands and they pay you a flat rate.
💸 If $10,000 landed in your business account tomorrow...
Could you immediately tell me: ✅ What's profit? ✅ What's taxes? ✅ What's owner's pay? ✅ What's operating expenses? ✅ What's safe to spend? Or would it all be sitting in one account looking suspiciously, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙮, available? 😆 That's exactly why @Lisa Drennon's joining us tomorrow. To help us answer the question: When your business gets paid, who gets paid first? 💰 You? 🏢 The business? 💳 Your expenses? 😅 Whatever bill is yelling the loudest? 👇 Cast your vote below! Tomorrow Lisa will show us how to create a plan for every dollar that lands in our business account, because every dollar should have a job. 💸 👉 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 and we'll send everything you need to join us live tomorrow. 💸💖 More details in the calendar

@Lisa Drennon Right now, I'm more intentional than formulaic. I don't have fixed percentages that I follow to the letter because my business is still in a heavy growth phase and my priorities shift depending on what's going to create the biggest long-term return. That said, I do always make sure taxes are accounted for, maintain a healthy savings buffer, and pay myself. From there, I evaluate opportunities based on ROI. Is this going to save me time? Increase my earning potential? Improve the experience for my clients or community? Build an asset that continues producing value? I do like the idea of eventually moving into more defined percentages as the business matures because I agree that it creates consistency and protects the future. For now, though, I see my flexibility as an advantage. It allows me to capitalize on growth opportunities while still being mindful of the bigger picture. I think every stage of business calls for a slightly different strategy, and right now I'm optimizing for building a stronger foundation that can support even greater wealth creation down the road. 😊

@Lisa Drennon I agree and thank you. I appreciate your knowledge in this area bc so many forget to treat their business like a business. It's easy to do and most of us make that mistake at first and I believe that's why alot end up loosing their traction.... They build an income stream but forget to put a business foundation behind it. Thanks for the chat and I look forward to hearing more from you around the skoolyard 😉
