🫆Ways to Offer CBD
A CBD offering whether service or retail can be looked at as both the main entre or the top off dessert. Offering both Main Entre AND Dessert metaphorically maximizes sales potential and client benefits/experience. 👇👇👇👇👇Pro Tips 👇👇👇👇👇 1. Have counter cards (8x11) and (4x6) displayed in visible high traffic areas. 2. • MARKETING CBD --> 3. • caution ⚠️ with visible signage its best to say things like (Ultra Calm, Deep Relax, Sweeter Infused, The Herbal Zone etc) feel free to get creative. This way you can promote on your website, menus and even windows without violating or flagging the "regulators" 4. If its not part of the Main Entre ( used as the main medium, offer a add on with it) "The Dessert." ---> Areas of most inflammation, Stiffness, Repetitive Injuries etc. 5. Your Clients Will Thank You! 6. Encourage Take Home! Until their next appointment you want to help them stay feeling their best and or support their joints during the "time between" .....grab the product you think will do just that. Place it in their hand and say id recommend this. And know you'll love it. 7. If you have one open have them TRY it or BETTER let them know it's what you used during their "add on" at the end for those target zones. 😉 Let me know if you try it!

Hi! I'm Misty Lake. I went from nursing to massage therapy at a very young age then in 2014 started incorporating cannabis into my massage practice which focused on palliative care clients. As I helped medical clients shift through a changing industry in Washington State, I became an obsessive researcher. I tried to learn everything I could about the plant, the endocannabinoid system, and everything in between. Eventually I started my own CBD company. I manufactured, wholesaled and retailed topical, internal use and pet CBD products across the US. I felt like my purpose though was more centered around educating others about it. In 2022 I transitioned solely into education and wrote a book which just came out last month! (Can I shamelessly plug here?) Beyond the Buzz: A Modern Guide to Smart Cannabis Use. I love seeing others getting on board with education! There are so many misconceptions and it confuses the general public. Thank you for this group Vanessa!
What YOU Do Matters
One of favorite memories from being a former Bodyworker and LMT was knowing why my clients were coming in. Then the opportunity to remind them what being HUMAN felt like. 🌷To be cared for 🌷Nurtured back "to center" 🌷To Let Go of their weight 🌷To connect with their body and breath 🌷To be so present and know they felt it It's an honor. ❤️

I love that you started off as an LMT as well! Crazy how paralleled are journeys seem to be. Hopefully you didn't have to go through the health struggles I did. What shifted you into CBD from massage? I know it's a very natural and easy transition- especially knowing and understanding how the Body works and then learning how the endocannabinoid system works. Just wondering because I still teach at a massage school and offer CBD Massage continued education.
🫆The Powerful ECS
When the signal of communication is ●Pain and Chronic ●Sleep Disruption and Chronic ●Mood Imbalance (frequently) ●Hormonal Irregularities ●High Inflammation Response ●Slow Gut Motility ●Slow Athletic Recovery These are all signs of a low functioning Endocannabinoid System. Hemp-derived CBD formulated in topicals are one effective way to "Tone" the ECS offering cross functional dynamic support 👏

Yes, quite a bit unfortunately. I've been kicked off of Facebook twice. Shadowbanned and been in " violation of community standards"(though I followed their rules to a T) on Instagram. Google would not allow me to add my location or "verify" business and reviews. It also wouldn't even let me add the location to the map for the longest time (found a workaround though). I followed FDA protocol so I never received a "letter" but was still "warned".

@Vanessa Marquez Have you guys been struggling with this still as well or has it gotten better in the last couple years? I felt like I was constantly swimming upstream.
🫆The Endocannabinoid System
Did you know your body contains it's own Endocannabinoids via the Endocannabinoid System? Sort of like how your body makes it's own antioxidants. Compounds found in Hemp are called Phytocannabinoids. (Plant versions of the exact ones your body has).... And guess what! These specific plant compounds in hemp are mysteriously able to "engage" with the specified receptor sites found in the layers of the skin and documented in organs all throughout the body. This receptor site engagement between phytocannabinoids (hemp compounds) and the Endocannabinoid System (Human Bio-Communication System) supports the functions of the entire system. Think of "modulation." Or the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. Not too big, not too little.... just right.
