7 contributions to CBD & The ECS for Wellness
🫆The Powerful ECS
When the signal of communication is ●Pain and Chronic ●Sleep Disruption and Chronic ●Mood Imbalance (frequently) ●Hormonal Irregularities ●High Inflammation Response ●Slow Gut Motility ●Slow Athletic Recovery These are all signs of a low functioning Endocannabinoid System. Hemp-derived CBD formulated in topicals are one effective way to "Tone" the ECS offering cross functional dynamic support 👏

@Misty Lake Yes! Did you experience this in your previous CBD biz as well?
🫆The Endocannabinoid System
Did you know your body contains it's own Endocannabinoids via the Endocannabinoid System? Sort of like how your body makes it's own antioxidants. Compounds found in Hemp are called Phytocannabinoids. (Plant versions of the exact ones your body has).... And guess what! These specific plant compounds in hemp are mysteriously able to "engage" with the specified receptor sites found in the layers of the skin and documented in organs all throughout the body. This receptor site engagement between phytocannabinoids (hemp compounds) and the Endocannabinoid System (Human Bio-Communication System) supports the functions of the entire system. Think of "modulation." Or the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. Not too big, not too little.... just right.

@Misty Lake thanks!
Multifaceted Approach to Pain Relief (Why it's Dynamic)
TRP channels (including the pain-relevant TRPV1, TRPA1, TRPV3, etc.) are expressed in both the epidermis and dermis of human skin—not confined to a single layer. TRP? ----> These channels are sensory. (Think cold, warm, stinging, pain) They live within the skin layers. They are found on keratinocytes (non-neuronal skin cells) and on peripheral sensory nerve endings, plus some immune and adnexal cells. This distribution explains why topical CBD (which penetrates the stratum corneum into viable skin layers) can directly interact with them for localized pain, inflammation, and spasm relief, as discussed earlier (e.g., via TRPV1 desensitization and ECS modulation in the 2019 TMD trial) Source Paper 📃 in the comments 👇

🫆Pain & Inflammation (Topical) Study w/o THC
Topical CBD (cannabidiol) has been studied for its potential to relieve localized pain and reduce inflammation when applied directly to the skin. Unlike oral CBD, topical formulations (creams, gels, oils, or balms) aim for localized effects with minimal systemic absorption, avoiding psychoactivity from THC and liver absorption (in oral CBD). Research includes preclinical (animal) models and small human clinical trials, primarily for conditions like arthritis, neuropathy, and musculoskeletal pain. Source Paper in the Links📄
