10 contributions to Aligned AF Camp
What We Learned About Ourselves Through Bundle Overwhelm
Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are behind us, I have been looking at the poll responses and comments with great curiosity. https://www.skool.com/aligned-af-camp/too-many-tools-spot-your-bf-bundle-overwhelm-style?p=d40c68aa When you read them together, some clear themes start to emerge. Here are a few patterns I noticed: 1. Most of us move between excitement and overwhelm. Some people jump in fast and burn out. Others organise everything but hesitate to begin. Some freeze. Some compare. The shape of the behaviour is different, but the emotional pattern underneath is the same. The moment something feels “big,” our system wobbles. 2. Alignment matters more than volume. A lot of you mentioned choosing only what feels useful “now.” That is actually a powerful strategy. When everything feels urgent or important, it is often because the nervous system is flooded, not because the task list is wrong. Thanks for this reminder @Patricia Terrell @Kim Wright @Mindy Iannelli @Melissa Huang @Sabine Matharu 3. Time helps clarity rise. Several people said they walk away and come back with fresh eyes. I love this. It shows that when excitement settles, discernment becomes easier. Pausing is a tool, not a delay. Thank you for this tip@Sonia Zamarripa @Dinah Laprairie @Mary Nunaley 4. We all benefit from connection and accountability.The idea of body doubling or co-downloading together was brilliant. We often think we need “more discipline,” when what we need is to feel supported and not alone in the work. Great initiative! @Jen Hill Myers 5. Burnout patterns show up everywhere. Overthinking, rushing, hesitating, downloading everything, or avoiding it are not personality flaws. They are simply signs of an overloaded system trying to protect you.

So beautifully said, @Zona Lord ! I especially agree with the body doubling - that was a great idea @Jen Hill Myers . "We often think we need “more discipline,” when what we need is to feel supported and not alone in the work." - this is so important to share! So many of us think that because people get things done, it is because they are disciplined. That's not true. It's because they've built routines and habits to make up for a lack of discipline. Trying to will yourself into being more disciplined just leads to failure and disappointment. Instead, build a success system that doesn't require discipline!

@Zona Lord yes! Support systems are a key gift!
Too Many Tools? Spot Your BF Bundle Overwhelm Style.
When you face a massive bundle of tools, ideas, or opportunities (like this BF bundle). which response hits you first? A lot of people are feeling both excited and overwhelmed by everything inside this Black Friday bundle because it offers so much incredible value. And, interestingly, the way we respond to too many tools, ideas, or information often reveals something about our internal patterns. Curious where most people land 👇 (There’s no right or wrong answer.)

@Jen Hill Myers perfect!
Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is Samantha, and I’m based in Michigan, USA. I work as a freelance social media manager, partnering primarily with start-ups and nonprofits to help them grow and connect with their audiences. As technology continues to evolve, I’m exploring new directions for my business and seeking clarity on how best to position myself for the future. Outside of work, I find balance in simple routines like walking barefoot outdoors in the summer to feel grounded, and starting my winter mornings with a treadmill walk to energize my day. It’s truly a pleasure to meet you all, and I look forward to connecting.

Hi @Samantha Moore ! Walking barefoot outdoors in the summer is heavenly! We live near the beach and it’s such a peaceful and energetic feeling to put my feet in the sand!
A little gratitude, just for us. 💖
As I move through the Black Friday Bundle, I keep coming back to how many great humans are woven into this. 🙏 Brenda – thank you for: • Dreaming up this whole Aligned AF Camp experience • Coordinating 100+ bundle gifts and all the Fireside Chats • Even thinking through the Tech Tips Post so we don’t lose anything we snag That level of care is felt on our side of the screen. Wow… you’ve really built something special here. 💛 To every contributor who shared a gift: Thank you for opening up your best tools, trainings, and lived wisdom. I know how much time and energy it takes to create these, and it’s not lost on me that we get to access them in a few clicks. 💜 To everyone who joined the bundle and this community: I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve loved getting to know you through your introductions, hearing what you’re passionate about, and connecting in the Networking Call and Fireside Chats. It all makes this bundle feel like a living, breathing ecosystem. One thing that stands out to me is being able to move from “AI & Digital Tools” to “Resilience, Healing & Stress Management” in the same space. That’s exactly the kind of mix that supports aligned growth in 2026. So, a little gratitude round: • What’s the first bundle gift you opened? • Any contributors you want to shout out? • Met anyone in here you’re excited to stay connected with? Drop your answers below so we can celebrate our very human endeavors and feel the ripples we’re creating together. 💬✨
