Be honest... what's the oldest piece of fabric in your stash?
I do actually have a couple of pieces of antique fabric, but I also have lots of older fabrics that I have been reluctant to use as I wouldn't have them any more! Do you older fabrics, we would love to hear about them.

I have 2 packages of 36” wof that my great grandfather sent my mom to make me dresses between 1959 and 1960. I was 4. They are lovely plaids. They do reside in my stash but I suspect that is where they will stay. Not in my stash are pieces of fabric my great grandmother intended to finish a quilt I have the top for - when my hand stitching is a nice as hers I’ll finish it. That was before my mom was born. She was born in 1934. Pretty cool. Pretty fabric.
Please Introduce yourself!
Welcome to GourmetQuilter Studio Corner - a community for quilters, creators and more. Please take a moment to introduce yourself below. What we would love to know: where in the world are you? what sort of quilts or other delicious items do you like to make? what are you working on right now? what does your workspace look like - maybe add a picture? Please also use this space to welcome other quilters in. Thanks, looking forward to meeting you all.

Greetings! I live in Seneca, S Carolina and I’ve been quilting since 1984. I’ve been designing my own quilts lately and I enjoy that. I’m also a glass artist and I have been known to incorporate glass into wall hangings - that’s fun. We’ve had quite a run on babies lately in the family so there have been a lot of baby quilts. About to finish the last one! Yay!!!

I’m a follower of Jesus, a quilter, a glass artist and a musician. I started quilting in 1984 and I’m very excited about this group!!
