Hi everyone! 👋 My name is Migi, and I’m truly honored to be part of the Government Contracting School community! ✅ Where I’m from: I’m from Connecticut, proudly representing both my state and my veteran roots. 🇺🇸 ✅ My age: I’m in my 30s, focused on building a lasting legacy for my family and community through service and entrepreneurship. ✅ My military background: I proudly served in the U.S. Army as a 92A – Automated Logistical Specialist (Quartermaster), graduating with high honors. Throughout my military career, I had the privilege of serving with three outstanding units: 228th FSB Maintenance, PA where I managed logistics and maintenance operations for all military vehicles. 141st Medical Supply, where I cross-trained as a Combat Medic, supporting medical readiness and supply chain efficiency. 169th Aviation, where I handled supply and logistics for a wide range of military aircraft. My time in service taught me discipline, integrity, and leadership — skills that now fuel my drive as a business owner and aspiring government contractor. ✅ My biggest goal as a Government Contractor: My goal is to secure government contracts for both of my companies: Patriot Prestige Closings LLC – a Veteran-Owned Transaction Coordination company managing real-estate transactions nationwide and Puerto Rico. Sunset Property Management LLC – a Women Veteran-Owned Property Management company serving residential, commercial, and land properties in Connecticut. I want to position both businesses to serve federal, state, and local agencies — providing administrative support, property management, and real-estate-related services while creating meaningful opportunities for other veterans and women in business. ✅ My biggest struggle as a Government Contractor: My biggest challenge has been understanding the full contracting process — from SAM.gov registration and certifications to proposal writing and capability statements. I’m here to learn how to do it the right way, step-by-step, and connect with mentors who have already paved the way.
