E. Joseph Cossman was the BOSSMAN at running TESTS to turn “duds” into winners. From the Ant Farm to the Spud Gun… He’d find something not selling… Get PROPRIETARY INTEREST…(we call it control) Do something to it… Then get everyone else to do the selling/work… 👉💰 Then every single time that product or service was sold, ANYWHERE in the world, part of the profit spun off to him. Thaaaaank you @James Foster for finding this course from 1987 for me! (I was on the hunt down for this for years!) I’ve been studying earnestly! I own this very same E. Joseph Cossman course in the briefcase. I have had it a very long time. Cossman was an amazing marketer! I now see the similarities between what Travis and Joe teach! Joe from the analog pre-internet days decades ago, and Travis with an updated version with his own spin on it for the internet age! I should have made this connection long ago! Glad this was pointed out…

When the Wrong Words WILL Wreck Your Wallet
Do you write these wallet wreckers? There IS a time when your copy can save you money and make a fortune… So I’ve said fifty-eleven times that when it comes to “sales” it’s the offer and what happens BEFORE the sale (Pre-selling) that matters most. Not the purty words. 100% Useful! But… There IS 100% a time when the words you use TOTALLY matters. When? 👉 When you MUST get the TRUTH on the table. Say/write the WRONG words and peeps close up, tuck tail and run…or they lie. (Fight or flight) Say/write the RIGHT words and they relax, feel safe and open up! (Truth Serum Copy.) Example: I’ve been negotiating deals for a long ass time. Recently… I’ve been negotiating prices on newsletters. After decades of deal making… I’ve figured out the words to use that get people to open up and tell me their “bottom dollar price.” How valuable are those words? To find their true bottom dollar? Well… Depending on the size of the transactions you regularly deal with… Hundreds to millions of dollars per use. I am often… But not always… Pleasantly surprised at what peeps bottom dollar is. I just had a newsletter seller with a 15,000 person list and 30% open rate tell me his bottom dollar. If I had to buy 15,000 leads on FB in this niche… It would cost me MINIMUM $5 a lead. $5 x 15,000 =$75,000.00 But I applied my “truth serum” copy… And guess how much he wanted? Bottom dollar? $4,000!! What if I didn’t have my trusty “truth serum?” And I offered $1 per sub… And offered $15,000 because I didn’t know how to get TRUTH on the table? I’d pay $11,000 more than I had to…at least! I say at least because if I would have said $15,000 and he had any negotiating mojo, he’d counter with a higher number. Do you see how valuable the bottom dollar truth serum is? Now… Because you’re Ronin I want to invest in you and give you the truth serum on me.That way we can all do more super profitable deals. But… I could use your help… If I were to offer the “Bottom Dollar Truth Serum” copy to the public.

I agree with others that the, “Bottom Dollar Truth Serum”, is priceless, so a price of $100 or more would probably rule, with the option to offer it for less in certain instances if it serves a different purpose. Getting to the other parties bottom dollar in a negotiation is critical information, and if you can get that information without showing your hand on what you might be willing to pay first, you eliminate the chance of the other party raising the bar on you. However, the real power of thie “Bottom Dollar Truth Serum” technique lies in it ability to test the other parties bottom dollar and get them to potentially lower it without offending them, thus saving you even more on what you would need to pay them. If one does any negotiating at all, and we all do, the “Bottom Dollar Truth Serum” would be an valuable technique and skill to have in the tool chest or aressnal.
Gets OTHER PEOPLE to pay for all your traffic
I'm not one to sit around with my thumb up my butt... When I want something... I find a way to get it. When I was broke... Getting started as an affiliate marketer... I didn't have $100s a day I could spray and pray on ads. I loved me some SEO... But damn it could be slow. Ya know? But something I learned in selling ads to restaurants and 'brick and mortar' applied directly online. I could EASILY get other businesses to pay for my ads. I could even make a handsome profit. The first time I started doing this was when I was an affiliate for Dish Network. I'd work deals with pizza places and restaurants. The deal was irresistible to them. Let me pay to print your carryout menus. The catch? I place my ad on their menu. Everyone said "YES"... But... The problemo? I had way more "yesses" than cash to print menus. Did I let that stop me? Hellz no. I went to the businesses around the restaurant and sold 2 or 3 ads to THEM. Which covered my printing costs...and then some... And my ads rode for free! Ride baby ride! The advertisers loved it because it was super cheap and they could reach 5,000 people for $100 or $200 bucks. It was "petty cash" to them. And me? I did very well. I sweatergawd I was making more profit from my Dish commissions than the restaurant owners were making from slaving away in their BBQ joint for 12 hours a day. Now... Turns out... In the brick-and-mortar world, this is called an AD CO-OP. Where several businesses get together and buy ads together to get far better reach for a fraction what they'd pay if they paid for the ad on their own. Problem is... Nobody wants to set them up, 😁. (BTW: There are peeps making nice livings setting up postcard co-ops where it may cost $4500 to print and mail 10,000, but they go sell 10 or 20 ads for $500 to $1k a pop and bank $5k to $15k. Getting in the MAILBOX of 10,000 folks for $500 is RADICALLY CHEAP.) But... Nobody was doing this ONLINE in 2004... And I don't know of many folks doing ONLINE CO-OPS in 2024!

Ready to take the Magic Ad Coop Training Ride!
You’re gonna pay, but you can choose the price.
Most people spend a lifetime working for money. 30 to 50 years. Trading 2 to 3 weeks of intense study and earn while you learn practice even if it saved 1 year of life would be an outstanding investment. I’m 57… I stopped working for money at 38. These have been the most joyous and fulfilling 19 years of my life. I plan on living to be 120. If my outrageous plan comes to fruition… I’ve got 63 more years of total freedom. It makes all the study and practicing at 4am before the family was up and weekend biz sprints totally worth it! In SNM… I talk about the time to hustle and grind is when you’re setting up “taps” and income pipeline that covers your expenses. Most won’t do it… …because of the upfront investment. But then they pay the cost of giving their most precious time and energy to a boss or a client or a business for DECADES while their spouse, kids and life get the table scraps of their attention. (Ask me how I know!) We all pay. We pay dearly in decades of our future to “make a living” working for money. Or… We pay upfront to become investors and live free. But we all pay. When we look back 5 years from now… Will we STILL be paying the price? Or… Will we be reaping the rewards of the investment we made years ago? I’ve noticed the most free people I know are the fastest to step up. Everyone else waits for times to be better, the price to be cheaper or the guaranteed path to appear. The free pay with courage. The rest sacrifice their lives sitting in a stew of fear. Life makes us an offer. We all pay. We can choose the price though. Rooting for Ya, Travis

I couldn’t agree more that it takes doing things far differently in order to live, work, and succeed differently and far more abundantly than most people do.
