Guys! Jess here and I could not wait to give this testimony of how important this community is for growth and success. So about 2 months ago, I did not even know this community even existed. I was trudging along and grinding as usual in my mortgage broker space. I have always been on a grind and up until a couple of months ago, I realized that I needed to pivot. I decided to make a commitment to getting out more and attending as many free networking events as possible. I found this cool real estate networking meet up at Rock Pit Brewery. This is where an incredible domino of connections and success were made. Since the first meetup that I attended in April til today, I have closed my first money connector deal with private money. From that buyer referral, I have been introduced to multiple investors to do future hard money deals. At this meet up I formed a relationship with The JV Portal that spoke at this meet up and I now own equity in the company. I help the investors that come to them with their hard money deals. I currently in the last 2 weeks have a developer that will be building 20-30 homes and I will be handling the financing. This relationship alone will carry me into a very lucrative year on the broker side of my business. I attended Squad Up Summit and met investors all over the country who now are my partners in deal making opportunities. I have the ability to now educate my attorney network of 4k on how to be a PML and last but certainly not least - I completely decided to sell my dream home and take the equity and become a pml and invest in real estate. When I say there is POWER in connecting, There is POWER in connecting. If your business is slowing down, this is your sign that you need more people and knowledge in your network. Hey everyone I’m in a 2nd position PML. The original exit was sell on market but last buyer fell through. Borrower wants to pivot to a refi but credit is crap in like 580. Looking for help with lenders willing to do 80% refi on a condo worth ~$250k in Tucson, AZ Could also use some insight on credit sponsorship because perhaps I could go that route to at least get my funds out.
