Tips for Manus PDF output?
I've been trying to get Manus to format a lead magnet it wrote and output it to PDF. It did a good job of writing and adding style elements but there are formatting errors. I've specified the issues and each time it says 'no problem I'll fix that" but it's either not fixed or there's another error. Also generating the PDF results in lots of formatting issues, again tried multiple times with no success. Burned lots of credits so I thought I better stop and ask. Cheers

I've had better luck having it to MD format, then just saving it to PDF myself. It is terrible with conversion from MD to word, so possibly same with other formats. I also noticed, when you get something "right", ESPECIALLY layouts when it comes to coding, reports, etc... SAVE your work in more than one location with descriptive names like DONOTMODIFY-filename here. Manus has a habit of royally screwing up perfection when you ask for revisions, and it "forgets" how and what it got right. I've had to upload back last acceptable versions many times to move forward. I will say... my projects are quite complex. Over 150K credits, doing a trading algo with a graphical indicator on a chart and now an app in another business I decided to revive from the grave after going through this course and seeing the potential.

Nice. After I had Manus basically write my code for a few things and decided to do an app (for the first time ever) I discovered you need a Mac (well there are workarounds) to efficiently develop and release for Ios. So a new Macbook it is/was. 48GB, 1TB, M4Pro. I tried to make a HackinTosh with 2 of my Windows boxes but it appears Apple has caught on and this is no longer viable. Had to bite the bullet, but B&H has sale, so ended up saving $300 over Amazon or Apple. My windows boxes should last quite a while. Not rebuilding windows until we see further developments in AI and what the CPU's do to catch up, but PCI 5th gen NVME sure sounds tempting...
When both Genspark and Manus failed.
So after last night’s class I uploaded a text only PowerPoint file to both GenSpark and Manus. I never tried this before. Both failed badly. Manus took about six attempts before it was clear it was beyond its skill set. Nada. Graphics is the one area Manus is not good at. Genaro’s took 3 hours and designed the most gorgeous set of slides. It failed repeatedly and I had to click regenerate again and again and again. Finally it was done. It took 48 slides and gave me 39 slides. But wait- it gets better It turns out that GenSpark created mini slides fit for Barbie’s or something. The sides filled about 1/4 of a PowerPoint slide. When I asked it to create the slides to fit a PowerPoint it told me oh, I should have told you I couldn’t do that. Final score on this task: F for both

1) I tried giving it my landing page url & told it to find out why optins are low (one of your suggestions on the call). For some ass-odd reason, it said it couldn't get to the site, even though I could from different browsers and incognito windows. It asked me to upload screenshots instead, then made optimizations based on that. The added suggestions are good (it was missing user trust elements) and it knew my headline was an unbelievable claim, which it wanted to tone down. In all honesty, I'm not crazy about its copywriting skills but realize I have to train it per last night's call. I've been doing this for such a long time, I'd rather focus my Manus learning efforts on skills I'm not that great at (like design, getting traffic, etc...) then come back to the copy part later on. 2) I uploaded an extremely complex pdf written over 20 years ago. Told it to read it & report back when it was done as I would provide further instructions on using the calculations afterward. It couldn't do it but was smart enough to know what it pertained to and to go out on the web and try and find the info elsewhere. It got some of it, not all. It was able to do a few of the calculations but I'm going to have to train it a little better. Still, not bad. It read through a 278 pdf with illustrations and got more comprehension out of it in a 15 minutes than I got after reading it three times over the past few years. I see some big potential with this. Not just for marketing, but everywhere else. Glad I took this course. It's already paid for itself.

Also, you asked for suggestions for future calls. Here are mine so far: 1) Many of these prompts assume a project is already off the ground (for example, look at reviews on trust pilot, etc...). If you have a client who has started from ground zero with no infrastructure, no sales, no testimonials, etc... can you add it as a case study in the future to show us how to modify the prompts, etc... ? 2) My areas of weakness are design and getting traffic. Would like to see how you are accomplishing both. Manus gave me a basic layout and deployed it to a public url I can have a designer use as a starting point along with the files for self-hosting, but my own design was much better. Traffic (paid and organic) are my weak points, as I'm an old-school direct mail guy.

@John McDermott click the course then classroom. It's right on top, above the weekly lessons.
Anyone else get this (Power User) ?
They want me to do zoom interview in exchange for 25K credits. I'm not so sure I want to share to the public what I've been doing with it, but obviously they are well aware. Stock market algorithms & the earthquake prediction queries are what probably caught their attention. Way back in 2017 I accidentally discovered a rare astrological alignment, potentially associated with large earthquakes. Trying to predict them by hand, even with the best astro software is too time consuming tedious, so I set it aside, then 6 years later (last week) thought why not? Let's train Manus & see what it comes up with. Just curious if anyone else got it & what you were doing to trigger it. Wonder if I'm alone or just treatment masses of early adopters are getting.
