Tobacco, vanilla, leather
SOTD = Dior Fahrenheit EDT
At long last an opportunity to give this OG a run. Green grass, gasoline, leather, citrus and floral notes rolled into one at the beginning. After a couple of hours and 6 sprays still projecting well. Back later to give more of the Fahrenheit experience. 200ML bottle should last me years. Big Beast dwarfs Fahrenheit Le Parfum and 32!

Eros Flame by Versace review
sotd... Eros Flame by Versace... This is one of my favorites in the Versace Eros line. Eros Flame is a warm, spicy, citrus fragrance. It opens sweet and bitter with a smooth pepper in the mix. As it moves into the mid, the citrus fades into a subtle green and floralness. The dry down is grounded by a rich, creamy blend of vanilla, Tonka Bean, cedar, and Sandalwood. Very good overall performance. The projection is noticeable for about 3 hours and overall longevity on my skin is around 8 hours. I give this a 9.5 out 10.

I bought for my son but ended up stealing from him. It is a great fragrance.
Lattafa Hayaati
This was part of My first lattafa order (along with Khamra Qahwa). I put this on after a late-morning shower while spending the day around the house. I already knew this fragrance wasn’t really my style, but since I had it, I wanted to give it another try. The opening is very fruity. It smells good, but it’s a little too fruity for my taste. As it settles, I pick up some powderiness and a slight spiciness. I don’t notice much citrus. In the drydown, I get vanilla and a fresh-linen smell. This is the kind of scent I think of when someone describes a fragrance as “fresh.” Projection is very good, although I feel like I need to spray a little more with this one than with my other Lattafa fragrances. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I got about six hours out of it before adding two more sprays later in the afternoon. I also sprayed my shirt, and the scent is still going strong on the fabric. Overall, this is a good-smelling fragrance; it’s just not my style. As I build my collection, I’m going to keep it because I could use another spring and summer option. I tried giving it to my son, but he thought it was a little too fruity—even though he usually enjoys fruity colognes. It’s supposed to be a clone or dupe of Paco Rabanne Invictus, but I haven’t smelled the original, so I can’t comment on the similarity. If you enjoy fruity, powdery scents with some vanilla and a fresh-linen drydown, I would recommend giving this one a try.

I really enjoy this fragrance, especially the opening. The citrus and spice stand out immediately, and the citrus is probably my favorite part. As it settles, I notice an aquatic quality that reminds me of being out on the open ocean, about 10 or 15 miles from shore—that fresh, clean smell of the water. I don’t pick up the amber, but my nose may not recognize that note yet. The drydown has a fresh, spicy, woodsy smell that I really like. The performance is where it falls short for me. I applied it around 7 a.m., and by 11 a.m., I could barely smell it on my wrist or inside my elbow. By a little after 2 p.m., roughly seven hours after applying it, I couldn’t smell it at all. Projection seems okay, but longevity on my skin isn’t great. I have an event tonight, so I’ll need to reapply. This is one I would carry a travel spray of for touch-ups. I see this as a great spring and summer fragrance for running errands, going to the gym, or relaxing at home after a shower when I want to smell fresh and clean. It doesn’t feel too strong or overwhelming. Overall, I really like the scent; I just wish it lasted longer. I also enjoy Versace Eros Flame, which may be the next fragrance I review.

@Julio Gutierrez I really like the fragrance but I have fallen in love with stronger, darker fragrances. I am going to wear it in the summer but I thought it would last longer. It’s funny that 4 months ago, I thought it had good projection.
